I was a bush guide and driver up there in 91/92 and it’s changed massively. Literally no one went up the old telegraph road for fun and it was virgin bush for a lot of it. Epic trips and amazing memories..

Looks like a great trip. Hope you figured out how to turn the damn parking sensors off, they would have driven me nuts!

is there much difference between petrol Landcruiser and the Y62 fuel economy? I'm looking at both of them not to sure on what to get, this week I'm going to test drive them an see which I like.
@Australian4x4Adventures2 ай бұрын
On average the 62 was a few liters better per 100 then the 100 series. It’s just newer tech in the engine so it runs more efficiently

Looks like it will be a very interesting track. I've been invited on a trip mid 2025 but don't know if I will be going. I probably wont have the funds for fuel to do that sort of a distance and I would want to be driving it for the experience. I would be taking the easy route for sure but some of those little wombat holes would be fun. While things like the CV Tree are cool it still doesn't help when we promote looking after the areas.

Yeah the OTT is a real beauty. Worth the extra effort

@Australian4x4Adventures looks it. I do enjoy some wombat holes and some wheel lifts but not keen on breakages lol. I think I would be avoid8ng Gunshoot though lol
