As per scrum guide, there is no terminology as Sprint 0 ..if in interview, interviewer ask about Sprint 0 can I answer it don't exist as per scrum guide and it's a myth..Please reply
@CareersTalk3 жыл бұрын
first of all great to see, some one to challenge the status quo. taken "courage" to write such a thought provoking question , Sign's of True Scrum Master :) By definition - A Sprint must always produce a Done increment, still people use terminologies for UNDONE sprints like Sprint 0, Design Sprint , Hardening Sprint.Although not officially recognized in the Scrum , Sprint 0 is there to cover activities such as product backlog creation, infrastructure set-up, architectural planning, resourcing the team etc.

I was about to ask about this..
@kaustubhapathak44932 жыл бұрын
Yes, there is no 'Sprint 0' in scrum but you can spend some time (for deciding on the very basic architectural decisions ) before you start sprinting.😊
@desyguru Жыл бұрын
I would say don't refer to it as Sprint 0 but preparatory task/activities before you actually get on with your Sprint-1.
@palakgorke31973 жыл бұрын
Great :) as much as i appreciate all the answers , please be vary of statements like "my developers" "I went to team member" "i get appreciation for team from clients etc". As scrum masters, our ultimate goal is to make the team self-managed, these appreciations/feedback should come directly to the scrum team/development team. If the SM is a bridge in between, then that's the biggest impediment.
@CareersTalk3 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks Palak , agree on your points..great feedback and insight
@pbgrocks12 жыл бұрын
Absolutely correct, SM should not become bridge, but practically it's not possible atleast in India

if a sprint is capable to finish before estimated time block, that reply two indications 1. Team may be fully confident and capable to understand all those story points so that they speed up their velocity. (it is a good sign for the collaboration) 2. Team might be wrong and for escaping point of view they made it DONE. Scene may create offense at the time of final delivery. So, to overcome all these impediments, during Sprint meeting or Scrum daily meeting, need to capture these and give support morally and orally so that you can create a positive environment within the team. AM I Right ?
@pseudofacts43562 жыл бұрын
Its just my view some answers could have been better like 1.) Team building activities : here there should be some acitvities then impediments. 2 ) SUnand asked if there is Production issue then how will you handle and the for solution the example used said about client giving two days time to tell estimate . which does not match the question. 3) If two members are fighting over takign a small US. And asking a technical expert in the team to select which member should work . In that case how the scrum values are maintained and how the team is then self organising. The expert may be bais too .. So even this answer i didnt find approriate. Rather the decision should be based on past exprience of the member and capacity. 4 ) A spike story in Agile is a user story that needs more information so the team can estimate how long the story will take to complete. Agile teams typically have a set amount of time outlined for spikes, which is why spike stories are often referred to as timeboxed investigations. 5) Why SM is needed even when team is self organised ? Well the Team velocity cannot be constant . It will vary and this is normal behavior. As Coach the SM should take a seat back and let team to self organise and SM can then take another team to coach scrum and agile

Certificate is good for start, but only doing certificate won't help you in getting job.

You get certified and let me tell you, you could not have found a better experience for scrum master than as a customer service representative. Scrum master is all about soft skills, and you have the much needed experience in this. Use these strengths in your resume along with scrum master skills, add how you used agile in real life scenarios, how well your soft skills can help excel you as scrum master. Use all the scrum keywords in yore resume you’ll get the job

@gargiamit112 жыл бұрын
Each sprint has a sprint goal. If the high priority change is going to impact the sprint goal, it has to wait till the next sprint. If it cannot and it is also not impacting the sprint goal, as a development team, they can discuss with PO and trade off with any other story and then work towards it.
