@@m.bilalyasir5517 bhai mera suggestion hai k ap apne returns me fair market value hi enter karein kiu k jab ap sale karne lagein gy inherited property tou FBR apke tax returns me se property value nikale ga aur agar vo sale deed par likhi value k barabar hogi tou gain tax nahi lagay ga. Agar apne inherited property ki value nahi likhi ya declare nahi ki tou us poori value par, jo sale deed par likhi hogi, us par tax lagay ga.

Aik property agar koi individual 10 july 2024 ko inherit kare par woh property uska father ne 1950 main khareedi thi tou konsa rate laga ga . Aur uski cgt calculate kaisa hoga.

Sir aj ek advocate k pass gya tha me. Uss ne kaha gain tax pay krna he parna, beshak property 20/30 saal b hold q na ki gai ho. Ap k chart k mutabiq to 6 years k baad zero% gain tax hoga. Need attention plz.

Sir, For calculation of capital gain from sale of inherited property: 1) WHAT AMOUNT SHOULD BE TAKEN AS COST for calculation of gain?? My father was a filer he had shown this property in income tax return on COST. KINDLY MENTION REFERENCE OF INCOME TAX ORDINANCE 2001. What amount should i take in welath statement after inheritance?? 2) IF FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS PLOT IS ON MY LATE FATHER'S NAME AND I INHERITED THIS PROPERTY THIS YEAR (i.e. in 2024 property is registered on my name) THEN WHAT IS THE APPLICABLE RATE SLAB?? IS IT FALLS UNDER FIRST YEAR SLAB where holding period does not exceede one year OR EXEMPT FROM CAPITAL GAIN tax??
