thank you for the tutorial, very clear. i would want to ask though in terms of the inflation how do we adjust for the gains due to inflation . say my truck's historical cost is ZWL 10 000 (pegged 1000usd), but by the time the asset is disposed/ replaced by insurance the proceeds will be say zwl 15 000 (pegged at usd500). i have lost value on the asset by i have made a gain on inflation. how do we go about that?

we only tax 5 % of the gross capital amount (my opinion)
