Been listening since 1988 when it was only broadcasting on w/ends , still listening but they don't play enough 80s and the current dj who does the morning show is stuck in the 60s.

Lance Harding it started ahead of Capital Gold. Covered Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire Derbyshire and beyond. At its peak achieving 24% audience share, way ahead of any other oldies station format in the UK. Got taken over and after a series of mergers and so on became part of Capital. Audience share dropped to 4% fairly quickly. There is a on line version been going for 6 years. Www.solidgoldgemam.co.uk

Will give it a listen, recently stepped away from broadcasting online, used to play music from 4 decades, but, because I spoke the truth, they didn't like it, radio politics STILL abounds, thank you for this link Simon
