Sir, thank you so much for sharing this. This is helpful. I came across a video where it is explained the other way round. The upper horizontal line is for mother and the lower horizontal line is for father. Which approach is ideal to follow?

@@Graphologic I wonder this too! The I that shows when we type vs write is different and nothing online explains! The capitol I that we write looks like 1:15 in the word “India”, why are they different and which is correct?! Driving me crazy!

Mr. Vevaina is it not the other way round, Upper part cross bar is mother and lower for the father ? Most graphologists say upper cb is for mother as mother is 'emotions' and lower for 'actions'

A capital I without any horizontal bars indicates either a strong desire to be independent as a choice. Normally such people have mindsets that are very contrasting to you their parents mindsets. - Zubin V.

General concept is when there is a gap between lines, then it represents " Non correlation" and when there is cross over of lines, it represents conflicts, so by that logic, when there is gap in upper part of lines, it would probably mean the subject is not relating with father very well..and same for mother in downward part.
