Having a strong sponsor that continually “handover” well managed properties and move on to develop more properties is important for a REIT.

Just left pocket to right pocket with a twig. Basically it means CLI need cash so divest to CICT to borrow money because REIT can easily to get fund. CICT gearing will be above 40%. With just 0.9% DPU increase, I don't think good deal. Just my thought.

Yes they presented 39.8 to 39.9, just 0.1 up. Doesn’t make factual sense. Something in the book will be compromise. Let see after the exercise.

May I know the closing record date for existing shareholders to buy the allocated shares? I saw that it is closing on 11 Sep at 5pm. Is it so?

Yes. 11 Sep was the cutoff to be eligible for the rights.

So this means that if I did not purchase the allocated shares as of 11 Sep then I have missed it all? I thought it is mentioned there is a EGM in around Oct or Nov? Sorry. I am confused

Another value creation….seller benefited from cash inflow. Whereas buyer, there maybe concern such as not mentioned but Dr. wealth. This may look like moving asset to boost liquidity at the expense of others…

what is the concern for buyer? For REITs, buying properties from sponsors is a common thing. They even have ROFR. As long as they are good properties at fair prices. In fact, some investors prefer REITs backed by strong sponsors.

Most REITs bought their properties from sponsors. Especially for their initial portfolio. FCT did that with Frasers property.
