the environmentalists are very different from naturalists. they want to control the environment. the idea you can control the temperature across the face of the entire planet is insidious and dangerous. it's more similar to the technological impulse. the human desire to separate itself from nature because nature is cold, hard and painful, now has become the desire to control nature.

The Italian economy was booming in the 1990’s, because it could devalue and remain competitive. Since Italy joined the Euro, its economy has not grown at all and manufacturing has dropped by 13.8%. Look at youth unemployment in Italy, a Greece and Spain. It is a disgrace. No wonder so many young people are desperate to get to the U.K. Over 5 million EU citizens were given permanent settlement status after Brexit. They did no want to go back to their own countries. Why? Because the British economy is not over-regulated and it is easy to start a business. You try and start a business in France. It is extremely hard. The Euro will fail because it has allowed Germany to have a competitive edge by devaluing from a strong Mark into a weak Euro. But southern EU countries are struggling. The Euro will fall apart soon as Lagarde hikes the base rate out of negative territory. There is going to be much social unrest in Europe this winter, as inflation eats into people’s savings. And let’s face it, the German people never wanted to share a currency with Greece.

Question are, why are politicians in Europe expecting Putin be so nice to European leaders ? European leaders closed their eyes for what US working on and planned in Ukraine since 2013, they closed their eyes for when US trained Ukrainian military azov dayly shelling Russian speak regions in Ukraine since 2014. Thousands of Russian speak Ukrainian citizens was killed by their own Ukrainian military azov, European leaders knew genocide was happening for 8 years. They knew US training Ukrainian military azov same time, nobody said nothing. No western mainstream Journalist's was in Ukraine from 2014 to 2022, because US wanted to work undisturbed in Ukraine since 2014. It's just insanity, and western leaders collective support US self-destructive decisions and sanctions against a country their own country depends on. Chooses to support US proxywar against Russia. And European leaders are surprised he not are more kind ? What are collective western leaders smoking ? People should see some education videos from US Professor John Mearsheimer, he knew what US working on and planned in Ukraine since 2013, made a lot of education videos about Ukraine since then. All US professor John Mearsheimer predicted would happen if US not stop their work in Ukraine trying to provoke Russia. We all witnesses happening right now, he was right about everything he predicted would happen for years, he warned US officials multiple times since 2014 about consequences we now see. But US didn't care about his warnings, bad choice. Really bad choice by European leaders, I know how US threatening Germany already over a year ago with aggressive sanctions if they are joining North stream 2 pipeline from Russia. I am surprised if US not threatening other countries if they don't stop buying cheap green gas from Russia. Yes I say green, because compared to expensive LPG gas from US who has to be shipped from the other side of the globe. Gas from Russia are very green, European leaders chooses to letting their own citizens freezing to death when winter coming. US promised they would supply Europe with enough LPG gas, they have to building many LPG ship's. And they now says they are not able to deliver so much gas anyway. US expected Russia would be military and economic bankruptcy in short time, but they failed big time. And over half of the globe refuse to kneel for US threatening, results in BRICS expansion and US getting more enemies. US wet dreams creating New world order got Chrushed big time, that's the truth . Making Russia and over half the globe stronger and independent from US anymore. They also agree to skip petrodollar, it could not going worse for the west. Never read or heard of so many collective leaders agree to so many self-destructive decisions and sanctions against a country their own country depends on ever. Everything who could going wrong for the west, have gotten badly wrong. Trying to create a New world order, and ended up freezing themselves away from the rest of the globe. Unbelievable to witnesses this collective self-destruction, just unbelievable stupidity and sad 😢

@polcaltieri2 жыл бұрын
I see your point but you didn´t give an argument why Euro killed Spanish manufacturing sector. As Dani said in the past Spain devaluated the Peseta to ga in competitiveness in detriment of savers and importers. But apart from that, I can give you good arguments about the Euro. With the Euro Spain got access to cheap credit, not only at goverment level, businesses and people also got cheaper credit. People also benefited because inflation was lower during Euro era than during Peseta era. Probably what killed Spanish industry was government, check how government spending has skyrocketed since Spain joined the Euro. Spain spent a lot of money in infrastructure during 00s. Do you agree with a pathological liar who is responsible for the economic disaster in the UK? Until now, the UK (also thanks to Brexit) has the worst situation in Europe; the Euro will never fall, and in the next year, the energy situation will be solved, which means less inflation and a rebound of the EURO because The Euro is weak because of the gas issue with Russia, the war, and because the FED is the most aggressive central bank, and also because in a situation where the global economy is in trouble, the US dollar act as a safe haven. So the weakness of the euro against the dollar is happening also because the dollar is really strong, it's completely normal, and at some point, we are going to see the opposite, as I explained. Nigel is not totally right on the Germans benefitting from the Euro. He forgot to mention the target II balances (approx. € 1.2 trillion) according to which Germany has substantial receivables, mainly towards Italy. So, the exports which we are supposed to have benefitted from, have not been paid up to now. This is like going to a pub regularly and have all your consumption put on your bill. Hence, if these target II balances are never paid (and they will not), it is the German tax payer who has to pay for this. How disgusting and perverse!

Sounds like a paid commercial. Nigel had someone as a guest on his show about 2-3 years ago, predicting the demise of the Euro. That didn't happen! They predicted that the Dollar will crash too, THAT didn't happen either. ALL currencies will eventually fail. It's baked into the cake. But, as of now, the Dollar and the Euro are both very strong. So, debating wether the Euro (or the Dollar) will crash is like debating wether there is a paper currency that will survive for longer than gold as a monetary unit. It will never happen!

As the Euro became a cheap currency that meant that German industry could out compete most other nations industries it meant a huge boost for German companies and economy. Farage is the last person you go to for prediction, mystic meg has been right more time than this guy. At the last election he threw his support behind Johnson after telling us that his Brexit party were going to get as many MPs elected as possible so that they could ensure no backsliding on Brexit from the Tories, needless to say he bottled out and allowed JOhnson a free run.
