What hasn't been addressed in this video is that for every one ounce of physical, there are estimated to be around 500 ounces of paper ETF's. That's fine whilst physical delivery of the silver isn't being demanded. However, think about this...just about every government has stated that they will ban the production of combustion engine vehicles by 2035 to 2045. It takes around 3-5 kg of silver to build an electric car. Where are they going to get that amount of silver from? Hmmmm, then watch the price of physical go through the roof.

The source was from First Magestic which is a silver investment company, so let's ignore that source. I apologise for coming out with such an unsubstantiated claim. I have researched other sources but difficult to find the info, which makes me very curious to find out more. I do know that silver has the most amazing properties so am biased, I admit. It is the best conductor of electricity there is. I use it in a colloidal form as an anti viral, bacterial and fungal cure and deterrent for any health issues such as colds, infection etc. It's amazing and I will stand by that.

Physical metals are super expensive. It just doesn't make sense. You're charged a 10-15% premium to buy. You're charged a 10-15% reduction is spot price to sell. That's 20-30% round trip. That's insane. That's just making the buyers and sellers rich on that kind of spreads. Sure, you should have some silver for economic fallout. But if economic fallout happens, you won't need much silver to survive as it will be worth a fortune. 20/30% spread is like using a credit card to invest. Behind as soon as you buy. That's my take on it.

Not necessarily. This particular accusation is for something called "spoofing" and it allegedly happened between 2008 and 2016. So doesn't seem to be directly related to any suppression of the price of silver.

The issue with the JP Morgan employees´ price-manipulation became public around September 9th, if I got it right. Why is it that there isn´t any bump in their chart since then?

It just isn't something the market cares about. JPM is many things and its commodities desk is only part of their overall activity. And there's no imminent danger to the bottom line from this investigation. At least for now.

Well, I´d been thinking of course that JPM has many other things but given that they´re such a huge silver holder it seemed likely to me that this event should have some albeit small impact on their current share price. But not in the slightest it´s been affected so far. Perhaps it´ll take some time for this to happen. Possibly at the point of conclusion when the authorities/courts sentence is to fine them. If this at all is going to happen.

I think JPMorgan have more they are hiding. They have effectively controlled the silver price with their manipulation. I thought they held naked shorts as well - who knows. They are also the custodions of the SLV fund. Not that they own it but it is another technical connection to a large quantity of silver. But the larger picture for retail traders is what we find interesting here. Is a breakout coming and what would the exact conditions for it be. Because there are still many other factors to keep in mind. Let's see what these pending lawsuits will be about. During research we came across somethig about other banks also being investigated.

This is rather elegant proof that trying to predict the silver market is totally 100% useless. No one can profit from precious metals trading when JP Morgan owns this market and can do as they damn well please. But here's my prediction-- the JPM people caught red-handed spoofing the market might get something more than a slap on the wrist-- maybe some jail time even though for years no one has actually gone to jail. They'll get fined as they usually do losing millions while gaining billions. JPM is the bully on the block. We're just the babes they steal candy from.

Spoofing is not the manipulation of silver that most stackers claim. They claim that JPM is manipulating the price down. The charges against these guys is that they made short term manipulations both up and down. Certainly no long term holding of the price down.

That's absolutely correct. The charges are only against individual traders and don't include keeping prices down. However the entire activity of JPM has been called into question by this and other investigations, so the spotlight is definitely on them right now.

Well if anything became clear it's that the Saudis can quicky restore output and that their infrastructure is well backed up. But risks do remain in the region and an escalation isn't out of the question. Not sure oil shorts will be discouraged by the events in the last few weeks. Fundamentals appear to be moving in their favour right now - lower demand, economies slowing down, alternatives becoming cheaper by the minute. But you never know with oil, it's a slippery one :)
