Sorry, I don't think you don't represent the natural element of capitalism accurately. The accumulation of stuff isn't the essence of capitalism. Survival of the fittest and competition along with entrepreneurialism is its core essence. People who adhere to Socialism, Marxism, and other isms also strive for the accumulating stuff.... usually OTHER people's stuff. Capitalism becomes a problem when there is a lack of a sense of social responsibility. For evidence of what I am saying, check out Gary Vaynerchuk, an immigrant from Belarus who came to the USA in a poor family and has become very wealthy through VERY hard work. Yet he does not care about the accumulation of material goods. For him, it is all about the sport of competition in the market place, the climb is what it is all about not the arrival at the top. Furthermore, this idea that nature (animals, plants etc.) establish an equilibrium rather than accumulate more and more and more is a myth. Animals and plants DO drive other species into extinction, tribes of primates in Africa war with each other until the other ceases to exist. Plants do this as well as invasive species of vines and bushes can completely take over a region to the point that other species can no longer survive.

not a good read on capital which is, quite literally, "wealth in the form of money or other assets owned by a person or organization or available or contributed for a particular purpose..." (ie a surplus accumulation, spent to assure more surplus accumulation) nor capitalism which is, in its simplest, most benign terms, "an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state." (LITERALLY taking others peoples stuff, like their labour, and stealing it, so as generate surplus profit from that very labour). an few sentences about 'essences' of capitalism without stating its economic, social, psychic and historical function is poo poo. good for Gary tho! maybe u should try and listen to Peter a wee bit closer.

Gary is a complete Randian tool, he is the mouthpiece for corporate gig/hustle culture. Gary doesn’t care about solidarity or emancipation, he cares entirely about domination-he is high on the illusion of the phallus/of narcissistic mastery, not down with the self-effacing nature of love, of openness toward the other.
