I want to read The Jasmine Throne so badly. But the thing is is that last year I brought a whole heap of first books in fantasy series because I was in a fantasy series mood. I also continued to read a whole total of two of them. I want to read the books I brought so I made a rule late last year that I have to get through certain books before I can go ahead and buy a new series. I admit I am not doing a good job. But I would love to read The Jasmine Throne. And yeah I have technically broken that rule four times, but I also didn't know that they were the first in a series so I can't really be mad at myself (I still am but we're going to breeze past it). I hope you enjoy that read and all the others!

Out of your list I’m the most excited for the emotion of great delight. A new or upcoming release I think you would love is the third book to the glided wolves. A content video I would suggest for you to make is book recommendations to get you out of a reading slump. Or just in general talking about why people sometimes read okay books, if that makes sense.

Could you go through some of the books on your shelves that don’t have lots of romance. I love YA novels but so many of them have too much romance because I find that the romance often takes away from other things like world building and friendships.

Elatsoe is a good one (main character is asexual), I haven’t read it yet but I’ve heard it has minimal romance to none at all in the book (not sure it if it’s ya but you could give it a try if you want) but radio silence is a good book with platonic relationship at its core! Ooh and if you want a good work building with Sifi elements that may have a lesbian necromancer relationship (enemies to lovers but the lovers hasn’t happened yet and there is almost minimal romance in the books) then Gideon ninth is really good!! I highly recommend it! And another book by the same Arthur that has no romance at all in it is princess Florida and the forty-flight tower (a bit gory but it’s really good) though it isnt ya I do recommend to check it out if you want a really good original gory twist of a retelling. Not sure if these books would help but give it a try if you want!
