I might be biased but I think out of all them hippie girl and her shroomy honey had the best idea 😂 With enough of that stuff the final girl, Ego Girl would pop up to show how everyone else's solutions are well-intentioned but ironically reinforcing the psychic pain of grief and arriving at the transcendental wisdom of compassion, egolessness, and detachment 😭

😂😂😂😂 literally Gold. I know how intense this was to edit and therapeutic at the same time. I had to deal with the loss of a loved one last year too so I understand. All I can say is it will take time.... Adjusting and handling the affairs of someone who was crucial in your life is tough, but as humans we are built to adapt and persevere. My biggest advice I can give you is, you don't have to do it alone. Seek wise counsel from professionals (bereavement counseling) and family/friends. In addition, try your best not to push away ppl who are offering to help, even if it's as simple as a loved one checking up on you to make sure you've ate. It all matters and it will mean a lot in the end. I pray you find comfort and peace in this situation and that you are given the strength you need to make it through, In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen🙏🏾✨️🩷

Thank you so much for this. I always get really stressed sharing my intrusive thoughts out loud and it feels really good to know it resonates with even just one person. So thank you. So much.

I once read something that really stuck with me. It said something along the lines of, grief comes in waves. They're huge, at first, and they knock you over again and again and you feel like you're going to drown. But eventually, you notice they're a little calmer, or you're a little better at staying upright. Over time, you start to be able to live with them. And waves have a rhythm, but they can still be unpredictable. Even as they get calmer, you can still get hit with a surprise big wave and get knocked down again, even after years and years. It doesn't make you less of a person in any way. I lost a loved one ten years ago, and sometimes, I still get struck by grief. I've learned that the best thing I can do is let myself feel my wounds, let myself curl up under a blanket and cry it out, and let the people who love me sit with me to ride out the waves. Sending virtual hugs.
