I play bass but I used to play a modded p bass and I used cello strings because I couldn’t afford flatwounds. I’ve tried bowing it too to imitate a cello and it sounds pretty close. So you could say I play celbass

@@disembodiedstudios the p bass was fretless when I bought it, it was a tanglewood, pretty solid and I still have it somewhere, unfortunately I don’t have any recording of it in action but I might record one at some point
