Judging by the lack of views of the trail footage in the link, I would encourage you to make that one public also, since peeps obviously are not inclined to click on links

THANK YOU so much for the new content! My 50" Zforce 800 Trail is too wide for most of this but it's still fun to watch.

Wow, am I glad to see you back! Ten months since your last upload and I was beginning to worry that something had happened to you! Looks like a great trail in beautiful country. Wish I was closer so I could ride with you sometime!

Parts of it are like riding through a rain forest. Definitely on our yearly rotation. Thanks for tuning in!

@@ATVOverland I'd love to go. may plan an Alpine loop trip with my dad this coming summer. you guys really have to go overlanding on the Alpine loop in colorado. Best place ever.

@@FullsendOffroad Thanks for the tip about the Alpine loop. Just added to our list. We had our first trip to Colorado last September. We were near Breckinridge with limited riding. The trip was a family trip, so limited riding, but still awesome. We're hoping to start exploring Colorado in the coming years.

Thanks for taking us along for the ride! Good video shooting that I am sure does not fully capture the true angles of elevation changes. I see that KZbin downgraded your video using the AVC1 Codec. The pixilation happening likely does not represent your source video. You may want to try creating a 4K rendered file in post and then it will upload using the vp09 Codec showing off your awesome video even better! Any questions, let me know. Thanks again for sharing this ride!

I had to watched the Larch section, my stomping grounds. That is a pretty challenging trail. I have ridden several motorcycles on it, as well as a Grizzly quad. On a bike especially, the small short stumps hidden in the ferns are F'g brutal when you hit one. The obviously don't give an inch.
@ATVOverland4 ай бұрын
We've hit a few of those. They sneak up on you for sure. Great place to ride!

Larch Mountain from Porter Creek up to the peak used to be one of my favorites! I really like some of the North Rim too, but it's been so logged now that it's not as fun, to me. Still cool though! I'd love to do a video like this on my XR600R!

When they logged it, it definitely changed. Suppose we have to take the good with the bad. The logging keeps these forest open to recreation. Great place to ride.

Looking for an active Atv club in the Tacoma area. Any ideas??
@dwaindiffey614510 ай бұрын
Tacoma trail cruisers or Washington atv association is about your best bet. There are a few more in the state but pretty much east side.

Been riding capital state for a few years and have not been on some of those trails. We are riding there this Sunday and see if we can find some of those trails.

Is there trails for razors side by sides?
@ATVOverland4 ай бұрын
At Capital Forest, SxS's are limited to the roads. The trails are 48" unfortunately.
@GrnXnham3 ай бұрын
I noticed your comments about how narrow the trails are. Those trails were designed years ago when ATV's were smaller. I used to ride up there about 20 years ago. Meanwhile ATV's keep getting bigger and bigger. I guess that is what people want nowadays.
@ATVOverland3 ай бұрын
Yep and yep. The trails are still 48" at Capital. My little kingquad 500 barely squeezes through. Fun times!

What machines are you guys riding? I'm planning on riding all over Washington this year and Capitol is definitely on the list!
@ATVOverland4 ай бұрын
our group for this ride was a mix of Kingquad, Grizzly, and a Polaris. At Capital, it seems the smaller the better because the trails are 48" wide. Have fun!

i just moved to washington, would love to take my dad here sometime we love to ride, is there anywhere to rent atvs/dirt bikes near here? We had to leave our rides back in chicago unfortunately, saving up to get them sent here.

I'm not aware of any rentals for Capitol Forest. There used to be place to rent near Tahuya. Welcome and have fun exploring the trails!

I ride those trails on a full suspension mountain bike, but they seem too narrow for an ATV. 🎸🔪
@ATVOverland4 ай бұрын
Ha, yes they are narrow. Biking these trails during the offseason would be a blast.
