I used to live outside of Rochester and I rode there a lot ...... Great riding. I had a 2001Honda XR 400. Good times. 👍👍🍻

Looks fun. Is there a facebook group that schedules rides in capital forest? I'm in lacey and just picked up a husky te310.

Looking to hit capital forest now that summer has finally arrived. Do you have any suggestions for a good loop, approximately 40 miles, heading out from rock candy?
@BlueDawnEnduro4 жыл бұрын
There are tons of loops to do here. And Rock Candy staging is good place to start. This is the more challenging side of the forest with more elevation. For approx. 40 miles: North Rim #1, #2, and #3. Then Larch Mtn, Larch Mtn East, Divide North. For added single track, after Larch Mtn, divert to Twin Peaks then Slide trail, joining back to Divide North (this skips Larch Mtn East). Happy Riding

are there any trails for 50 inch side by sides?
@BlueDawnEnduro4 жыл бұрын
Only if you are plated, then you can ride the extensive gravel forest roads. Otherwise, most of the trails are dual tracks here (I think 40inch and under).

Whats this trail called? My property backs the forest and all the trails near me are for walking, biking, and horseback.
@BlueDawnEnduro4 жыл бұрын
Half the forest is closed to motorized. The North half motorized usually staged from Rock Candy entrance. You can get a map on dnr.wa.gov. The trails in this loop are North Rim #1, #2, and #3, Larch Mtn , Capitol Peak, Twin Peaks, Waddell Basin, and Rock Candy -- 50+ miles. ORV and Horses prohibited Dec 1 thru April 30
