Mack garbage trucks are the only Mack cabover semis I see around here in the USA nowadays. I remember back in the 1980s & down there were many Mack cabover fifth wheel semis around along with cabover fifth wheel semis from other makes like Peterbilt, Freightliner, Kenworth, etc. too. Today besides garbage trucks, fire trucks, & yard trucks, I don't see cabover semis around anymore like I use to back in those days.

Such an old fashioned way of collecting trash. In my city we only have the big 95 gallon carts and the truck has an arm that grabs it and dumps it in the top- 1 man operation and a lot less labor intensive. Also a lot more efficient and uniform instead of having piles of trash and mismatched cans everywhere. Where’s this at, anyways?

Where I live it has to be in the green can because the trucks top dump with a dump arm. Anything that doesn't fit in a can you have to take to the dump & pay by weight. Since the transfer station is 15min away I just make a monthly trip & it costs me about the same as 1-2 weeks of garbage service.

@@TruckMaster642 In Kenya, garbage is a booming business fought over. Metals, plastics, paper are sorted to be sold to recycling companies. Food was mostly go to pig farmers. Things that can be repaired, are repaired and sold as used items.... Given a second life.

@@listentalk6111 I have worked as a selector in warehouses for over 16 years, am not even 40 but my back paid for my choices. It's was fun at the beginning, money was good but looking back now. Is money worth just existing and not living? Buying a house at say 30 and pay it off at 60? When you don't pursue your dreams. Another man will pay you to fulfill his hence going out with regrets.
