No. Best band in the world. You'll like this Melissa. I fell in love with a Ukrainian woman. Still am. Im in UK. I bought tickets for me and her to see Maiden in Kyiv (May 2022). She was so happy. She likes Jinjer. But because of obvious reasons it never happened. Heartbreaking on 2 levels.

Not sure Aces High was the best way to end a show, it demands a lot of energy and to me i feel Bruce was a bit exhausted at the end (he's usually running everywhere you know, the fact he changed his hip can have an influence too). Btw fucking legends

Yeah it seemed slow downed a bit, to be honest, I think the new setlist for this tour is completely butchered compared to the original LOTB set, they have seemed to take out some of the best songs in favour of the first 3 Senjutsu tracks. Thank god I got to see them before COVID happened.

These guys are literally giving the fans an amazing spectacle and show even in 2022, they really don't need to do any of this, I'm sure they love performing but this one is for us, the fans. I am a huge Maiden fan, but if Nicko cannot handle the physicality of this song in the proper tempo, they simply shouldn't play it at all. This is the one song in Maiden's cataloguer that needs energy to work well

Tempo is slowed down which is fine with me, Aces had gotten so quick over the years it's cool to hear it at this pace, sounds more like the album, honestly, great first concert, I'm sure they're thrilled and relieved, crowd was awesome too

It's sounded so rushed the tempo they've gone with in the past. This sounds more deliberate and you can hear the individual notes so much more clearly. A lot closer to the original. It's nice. I'm a bigger fan of it like this than the mad rush it has been in the past

Played a lot slower than in the past definitely. Not sure it’s the right tempo slowed down that much. Bruce trying to push the tempo when he starts singing and getting slightly ahead of the music. The video of Senjutsu on here was great though. Maybe they’re better with the slower ones now they’re a lot older 😀

And it's better for it IMO - Maiden have had a tendency in the past to gallop through songs way too fast (e.g. The Trooper, The Evil that Men Do, etc.). But this version of Aces High is one of the best I've ever heard ever since the Powerslave album in 84. Tremendous performance!

@@mak8836 the studio version was recorded in 1984. He’s still just as good as the studio version. You can’t really compare this version to the one from the Powerslave album. He’s gone through a lot in the 38 years since it was originally recorded.

I don't know what were they thinking (or specially Bruce) by playing this at the end, even in the Maiden England tour (like 8 years ago) he was struggling as the first song of the encore. They should have kept in the beginning and played Senjutsu in the actual Senjutsu tour IMHO.

In an interview from a few months back he called it their most challening song to sing, so yes. No idea what they were thinking. XD Honestly he pulled it off here, but as we've seen in the past (Live After Death Video) he will probably start struggling mid tour or so. Hopefully there will be changes before it becomes a problem.
