The name Capoeira comes from the Tupi Guarani language, indigenous language. Capoeira it's a kind type of low forest, when the Black people were persecuit, They entered this type of forest to escape.

No it is not. It comes from Kikongo Kipuru, which describes either a zebras or chicken flying and fighting moves. They still do the art in Kongo.

Capoeira comes from 'hip-hop. "No cap" started it.

They were right the first time? It did come from Angola. Angola villagers practice the art even till this day. They have 2 version's? Capoeira and Capoeira Angola......the real name for Capoeira is *Engolo.* the art itself was practice before slave trader's touch foot in Angola. Back then, it was more based on mock battles than actual combat. It was a right of passage for warrior's too become men.
