I just got a custom capone. thin tan dublin on the outside and reverse black shell (dull green) inside. It's perfect!

I think you could but it would be more difficult that just releasing the clip, grabbing a bill, then closing the clip

The leather look so flimsy and prone to tearing especially when folded inside out. Do they tear easily in about 5-10 years?

This model hasn't been in existence that long so I can't specifically answer your question. However, we design these with our lifetime guarantee in mind. If it ever rips (I highly doubt it will) I repair or replace the wallet for free
