It looks like everyone is enjoying their Capra axled Interceptor builds so I figured might as well add another project to the 3 I already have going. Lol. I believe I ordered everything I need from ya to get started except for a front axle and trans. I ordered some high clearance links for a 12.8 wheelbase so I figured I’ll start there and see how that looks.

I’m doing this build. Parts are great but one thing is the cross braces are much shorter than the width of the Capra skid, so you either have to put spacers between each end of the cross member and the rail or pinch the rails to meet the cross members. Puts a lot of strain on the rails and the skid. The skid actually flexes if you go this route. I put spacers in.

I’m trying to get everything ordered for a similar build. Can I ask what wheelbase yours will be? Mine will be between a 12.8” to 13” depending if I use the longer Traxxas Jato rod ends. I’m trying to decide on which driveshafts to order. I drive over the road so I was trying to have everything at the house when I get home. Thanks for info you share.

Would the skids mounting holes match the standard 10.2 chassis mounting holes? I have a custom built rig that I'm converting to 4 link and was wanting to upgrade to this skid.

What weight oil do you run in the FT shocks? Also is that the springs that came with them or did you change them out?

30 front, 50 rear. Stock springs. Pen spring mod in front shocks. Cheers

Are those Axles aluminum? Or hard Plastic? I'm trying to figure out on their website which to get, either the Portal kit or just the Aluminum axle housing

I’ve been looking for the same thing. I like stock bumpers that come with the scx10 pro. I need to check if the are available to buy separately now. They are very low profile and I am surprised there aren’t several others just like it. It seems to me that most people don’t run bumpers or they will just put a chassis brace in its place.
