I like the way you explain how the trucks will behave while you driving the obstacles

Had four wheel steer on my Capra. Took it off. I found movement of the rear axle especially on steep climbs really unsettled it plus the weight of the rear servo does not help,

I like your videos. I just got my first capra 4ws and they help me alot with proformance and upgrade questions. I will probably leave comments at times on your videos just to help the algorithm

Wow can't wait to see the comp vid. Would totally recommend taking a hack saw and cutting the front of the chassis off the comp rig. I did that to mine and it really helped the approach angle. That power wagon looks awesome man! Great vid man!👍🤙

We Are headed down to sand hollow this weekend. I’ve run my scx10 oi and trx4 on the big rock at the top of the first hill. Are there good areas off of tower road? Or do I need to get further back. I’m bringing my campeã and the new scx10iii. Ronco down for the weekend to have some fun. Thanks

Thank you man 👍🏻 I really enjoy learning while being entertained. I’m currently in the middle of adding high clearance links, flipping the 5 gear kit transmission, and switching to a Fusion 1800. Can’t wait to hit the rocks 💪🏼

New subscriber loving this vid 👌 The SCX10ii Chassis is amazing even with a brushed system! A friend runs a SCX10ii all stock except for steering links, steel bead locks and 1.9 super swampers and it’s always surprising just how good it is except on anything over 52 degrees they tip over 😟 how have you weighted yours to over come this? Also not great down hill with the light back end? Or is it more to do with the different suspension set up to lower centre of gravity?
@westdesertwheeler3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, yeah my truck is lowered so that helps with rolling. I also have moved all the inside stuff around to balance it better. Still light in the back but it does pretty good

You should try a 5 pole motor on the capra. If you can afford it the HH magnum is nuts.

Did you just say a brushless system is more smooth than a brushed?
@westdesertwheeler3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely
@WayneStark6263 жыл бұрын
@@westdesertwheeler Good lord. In what world is that even possible. Brushed motors are natively smooth and have much better low speed control and can creep. Whilst even a sensored brushless motor struggles at low speeds and exbits cogging effects aka not smooth at all.
@westdesertwheeler3 жыл бұрын
I own both, you must be using the wrong brushless motors and ESC. My brushless systems are by far smoother and better than brushed for crawling. Watch my videos, you can see both in use. Brushless is way smoother

Your comp crawler ain’t quite in the rules for it being a class 2 crawler. 1 your power wagon front fenders can’t be all the way trimmed need to have some left on it. 2 your inside track width needs to be skinnier then your body from door to door
@westdesertwheeler3 жыл бұрын
Yep, I’m aware of that. It’s fine, the local comps don’t strictly follow sorrca.
