netting is done with c-lon A, not fireline, so that may already be the first problem. Thread breaking mostly is due to people wanting to pull their thread through 4 swarovski beads at the time. If you did use c-lon instead of fireline for the netting, and you are pulling your fireline through no more than two swarovski's at the most you probably bought dried out thread. I had a 0.009 that broke easily because it was just dried out

let me see 355 swarovski x 18 euro cents = 63.90 euro's + 10 euro's for seedbead, c-lon and fireline thread. That would be 73.90 in costs alone without my 8 hours of work. What would be fair? Minimum wages I guess... 8 hours times 10 euro's would make this bracelet 217.80 euro's... I would take 215 euro's which would be about 280 dollars. I'm registred at the chamber of commerce, so I do pay taxes on my sale. Anyone who thinks it's too expensive ask them if they get paid when they work :-)

Did this bracelet entail almost 400 Swarovski size 4 beads? 😱. It's a project id love to do but it seems very costly
@Pammellam
@Pammellam 3 жыл бұрын
@@gmarshall6596 ::: You could make this with other 4 mm beads of your choice which would make it much cheaper. Swarovski beads are very expensive. They have lots of bling and are very fancy but I think this bracelet would be very beautiful using other less expensive beads. But even 300 - 400 4mm BEADS would still cost something. But, using other beads in other colors would make it more wearable for daily wear.

did you use c-lon for the netting? and after that fireline for the swarovski's? If not that could be one reason. You don't have to take it apart, you can do a second round with fireline if it's to flat through the swarovski's and pull that a little tighter. That will help. I have several beaders already telling me it worked fine but they indeed had to do a second round

I did it this way, I have no idea how it would work with D, but don't be afraid to try... :-) I used 6 armspan wide of c-lon a for my first bracelet and it came through the phonetest just fine as well as the curve was beautiful. But since people have a bit of a problem with 6 armspans of thread I did it here with c-lon AA and fireline. So go ahead try D see what happens.

This is such a beautiful bracelet that I had to make one. I used SoNo thread for the entire project and 420 Swarovski round crystals. It came out perfect except that it's too big even though the netting fit tightly over my knuckles when I did the fitting. The SoNo thread has a slight stretch to it so that is most likely why the finished bracelet was too big. I’ll need to take it apart and remake it using less rows in the netting section. Thank you for the tutorial! :~)

Well because that's how I like to do it. The bracelet pattern is not written in stone you can do whatever you like with it. However if the result is not what you like it to be you might just want to hold to the basics on what I use, fireline, c-lon, seedbeads 11/0 and 8/0. Bicones or rounds make no difference in the shape, anything else replaced may give you a different look.

Hello! You done a wonderful job on this tutorial and the bracelet is lovely. I have not seen one on youtube that can beat this in looks. I do have a quick question.....which size 11 silver seed bead are you using? silver lined clear, silver lined opal, or an actual silver color? Thank you so much for responding and for posting this tutorial....I prefer these to the tutorials you have with just the pictures and instructions.

I wish I could but you may need more than I use. I for instance only use 320 crustals but I can only suggest not to start with less if you have my size wrist which is very small. As to seedbeads I buy bulk (50 grams) so I never know how much I use, I just make very sure I don't run out, and with 50 grams I am sure I won't when I start a project like this. :-) yes 0.006 4lb is teh same

very, very beautiful, a nice work. So in the end you have use 7 sets of 50 plus 5 8/0 seedbeads, and the same amount of round beads 4 mm?. once again a very beautiful work.

Cool :-) Don't feel stupid, I had to do it 3 times myself when I first started, one wa to big, next one too small third time was finally a charm :-)

Ive just started this but did 7 8/0 instead of 11 to make the width a little shorter. Hope I can make this successfully. Im thinking of figuring out how to at a clasp and use rainbow coloura crystals which I recieved today (btw I can so tell the difference all my old ones are fake) so thanks to you I invested in some good quality ones.

Of course you can kjeseygirl, all you have to do is follow the instructions and if not strong enough go around on the outside again. So many already showed theyr pieces on my FB channel and everyone who did, did an amazing job :-)

You could check ebay for some 11/0, I don't know if you can create it with all 8.0 but you could give it a try

you can do whatever you want, make bangles out of them, change row colours, use 11/0 all the way around see wha happens... Pretty powerful bracelet to play with and nothing you can do to it that will let you down :-)

oh good, glad you understood it. Yeah I'm working on an intro video where I show new beaders to go to my oldest video first. I think that will help some (I hope) :-)

Thank you for your wonderful videos. I've watched most of them and made a lot of gorgeous pieces. I do have a question about this one. Can I use just 11/0 for the netting or even 11/0 with 15/0; would it give me the same curve? Thank you again for sharing with us and making your videos easy to follow!
