I've torn my hair out so many times trying to do CRAW, having seen so many bead weavers do it on KZbin making it look easy...that is until recently, when I saw one of your older projects on KZbin and it suddenly clicked! Eureka! Thank you Stephanie for your clear and precise demonstration of how to do it. Now I can't wait to make this one; it's beautiful.

@@wendymoyer782 My biggest problem was the first cube! It always ended up, as Americans very aptly call it, in a "hot mess" and I could not make it out to be a cube at all:) However, in the end I used a wooden skewer to wrap it around to do the last side and then the top and bottom, once that was done and I had the first side of the next cube there, I could take it off the skewer and as we Brits say 'Bob's your uncle', I had cracked it. Took me 5 or 6 tries to get it though and my Eureka moment was great.

I learned it accidentally.. i was trying to do a tubular peyote. Ended up as craw. Dont ask me how 😂😂 I avoided even trying out CRAW/PRAW for a while bcs everybofy was saying how hard it is.. for me itbwas not as hard as people said. As soon as that stess went away it was no issue..

😂😂 kitty wants mummy😅 I put a stretch bracelet on the door knob so my wife knows I'm doing a video and doesn't interrupt. OMW Stephanie this is such a gorgeous piece of jewellery. The way you patiently explained the CRAW technique (one of my favourites beside Peyote) is wonderful and always appreciated. I haven't been beading for more than a year due to health issues but I'm finally in my new home in the mountains and have started planning my craft room so that I can get my bead stash unpacked 😊 and this piece is definitely at the top of my lust to attempt. I do not have a cushion cut stone but I will adapt with a round rivoli to personalise the design. You are an amazing designer and I have tried many of your intricate designs. Wow! What a great idea to put your first unit on a bead reamer! Invariably I'll end up dropping it at this stage and then trying to determine where I left off which is never easy for me.
