When you first enter this park you can just feel the serenity of it - a timeless peacefulness that cannot be put into words. The hiking is awesome, great campgrounds, scenic views, and the bison and prairie dogs only add to its appeal. I say all this hoping it stays this way as once word gets out on a great State Park (such as Garner) its gets a little "crowded". Still a travesty not to hype it up as every person should visit this one...

We camped at Honey Flat a month or two ago - fabulous park! My loop hike turned in to an out & back due to a bison jam on the trail.

It’s a super beautiful view don’t go for the lake it’s the buffaloes pool and potty. The camp site areas are very nice
