This feels very pensive. Almost solemn... A bit sad, in a way. I picture letting go of your past and the things that slowed you down. Doing this might cause some pain for a while, but in the end you'll be a better and happier person because of it. ... This is what I picture. Very beautiful song and easily one of my favorites.
