Capt. Kris Bergstrom retires from Cayman Airways after 33 years of flying

On Saturday May 15, 2021, Captain Kris Bergstrom was greeted at Owen Roberts International Airport (ORIA) with a hero's farewell and celebration as he landed his final flight after 33-years of flying for the National Airline of the Cayman Islands, Cayman Airways Limited (CAL).
A symbolic Water-Cannon-Salute was conducted by the Royal Cayman Islands Fire Service as his aircraft pulled off the runway towards the terminal building, where his fellow pilots, colleagues, friends, and family formed a "Guard of Honor" to greet him as he stepped off of flight KX2402 from Cayman Brac, officially marking his journey into retirement from commercial flying.
