Heck yeah!! The damage output from the tanks in this game is pretty wild. Magneto with Scarlet Witch team-up comes to mind especially. That thing just SHREDS for no reason.

Yeah, I'm a big Cap fan and even I was a bit concerned about his "clunkiness" at first - but he really grew on me as the test went on and I'm looking forward to him being my main - at least for the Vanguard(tank) role!

Yeah... This was a weird one for sure. The servers aren't populated with bots I don't think because of the long queue times, but some of these games are head scratchers lol.

@@valstarlight This is 100% a bot match. The usernames have the same bot pattern this game uses, as is the way they play the game. Always hated getting bot matches in the beta test, it'd kill my motivation to further play the game (despite to the original intent of bot matches being to stop you from quitting after some bad games)

Naw they are t bots just journalists this time round, this is using the same servers as the gamescom guys so you got some people who have never touched Rivals before and are playing it in a booth at a loud convention.

@@doasitellyouu Yeah, having gotten a few more queues like this it is definitely bots. Just so weird that they wouldn't pop up more in queue instead of making us wait 70 minutes for matches sometimes. There is a separate way to fight AI in modes like "Practice vs AI" and Custom games, which this is not because those bots will literally say: "Groot - Easy" or something to that effect. Tainted the video, so I won't be uploading more like this. Making it pretty hard to make content for this little playtest haha. I'll try my best!

I just like shield heroes and he has so much mobility small enough hitbox a bit or range which bounces and the shield reflects whict is just phenomenal... When you join a lobby and all of the other players already have heroes that are grayed out, that means you're in a bot lobby. If you were in a non-bot lobby then all of the players would still be question marks with no hero selected. You were in bot lobbies.

how are you able to throw the shield over and over? I was looking at some other footage and it seemed to me that you could only throw it using E (which has a cooldown) and after you get 2 melee hits (which seem to be those bars under the crosshair) and then you only get 2 throw charges

It is the Thor Team-up ability. When you activate it, it basically becomes Thor's F (where he is constantly throwing lightning). So, your primary is now just a ranged attack for a few seconds and does decent damage. It's very strong!

So is Cap just really good? Not to undercut your own skill, you're clearly a great player, but every video I see of him has him dogwalking the other team.

He seems pretty solid. I don't think he's as good as Venom and maybe just slightly worse than Thor overall. That Thor Team-Up Ability really gives him a huge boost. I was abusing it in this game and the quality of the opponents didn't seem very high here. BUT - that being sad, he's extremely fun to play!

If ironman hits ground with ult... explosion epicenter starts there, Cap's shield not so big ... so it's not that OP, and other players can just aim at his feet to kill him.

It's not out, they are doing a private media server for content creators and media to try out Cap and Bucky. It's part of the Gamescom stuff. Essentially just the CBT server with Cap and Bucky added to it.

It's a private Gamescom media server. It's for content creators and media only so we can try out Cap and Bucky. Don't ask me how I got picked, I'm just as shocked as everyone else lol. It's the CBT server just with these two added in. No new maps or anything else.

@@king_gingy4886 They dodged the question during their interviews and Q&As during Gamescom, but they have kinda done that for every test so far lol. If I had to guess, I could see an open beta in October. They seem to have done everything about 2 months apart and that would put the open beta 2 months after this and 2 months before release. That's just my guess though, they haven't said anything yet.

We'll see how everything plays out. We obviously haven't gotten any of the monetization details yet, so a lot remains to be seen. All I can say is that the game itself is a lot of fun and it's the Marvel IP so people are going to play/enjoy it.

Anyway, I'm one of the few who actually enjoyed Marvel Avengers and thought it had a lot of potential if they planned ahead and lined up their character releases with all the shows/movies coming out right after it released. And obviously if they have more enemy/types and used better villains. But the combat was fun imo at least for a while. Not sure if you're just trolling to troll based on your comments on my other videos, but yeah. That's my 2 cents, I'm sure you'll disagree but to each their own!
