This was really nostalgic!! Loved everyone's analysis. This brought back a lot that I hadn't noticed on my first watch of the movie. TBH Biggest impression the movie left on me was that the scene where he goes up on stage in front of the soldiers in costume gave me such terrible secondhand embarrassment that I'd always flee the movie room when that part happened to avoid seeing it 😂
