Hopefully this movie delivers. Sam Wilson in the comics, games, etc is one of my favorite versions of Captain America right along with Steve Rogers. I’m choosing to stay optimistic, and hopefully this movie will be worth the wait and the reshoots. Remember the “Ship of Theseus” from WandaVision?

Besides the DEI thing, it just seemed like Bucky had a deeper more meaningful relationship with Steve. It was a deeper rooted friendship by comparison which is why we liked the idea of it being passed down to Bucky more then anyone.
