It was a matter of circumstances that led to that. Peter sided with Tony initially in the Civil War comics, so they reprised that in the MCU. The nice story kinda shows how one hero responds to another from this point in time. Cap and Spidy should be friends because their backstories are similar, and possibly this forms an untied friendship throughout the Avengers, but that may change of course. J.J.J should learn never to make trouble with a fellow hero or the team will pay a visit like Captain America, and it is certainly worth mentioning that those words Spiderman spoke were from Ben Parker who in the past served during the Second World War and he was only 19 he saw Cap once and spoke with some 70 years ago in a different time. With Power Comes Great Responsibility word in the real world should mean something. Stan Lee, you were a master of words, Peter Parker's mantra and he also looks a bit like a younger Stan Lee has anyone thought of that?
@monicaavgust762510 ай бұрын
In the cartoon "Ultimate Spider-Man", Peter joined the Avengers. He had excellent relationships with most of the team members. The Hulk was his buddy, Thor and Hawkeye were good pals with whom he sometimes went on missions, Cap was his guru in the world of superheroics, and Tony was his idol in the world of science. But, unlike Sam Wilson, Spidey felt out of place next to a team of heroes where the average age of the members, excluding Thor, was forty years. He returned to S.H.I.E.L.D. and became a mentor to a new generation of heroes. But Jameson still stuck to him (((

The shaved moustache is now a reminder to triple J not to make false claims, especially about the web-slinger

I like comics like these. Short and simple, back to their roots. And not talking about the multiverse, it’s a nice breath of fresh air.

This reminds me of an episode of the 1990s Spider-Man series where Jameson hesitantly works with Spider-Man to stop Scorpion and he says “I’ll never stop until you’re brought to justice.” And Spider-Man says “And I’ll never stop until you shave that mustache so we’re even.”

Coulson: “You like him, then?” Captain America: “Who doesn’t?” He’s joking, right? Especially in the Spidey series, where almost everyone in New York has an irrational hatred for Spider-Man.

JJJ runs the biggest publication of news in New York City, it’s not irrational, they’re just being manipulated

Which Spidey series? Spider-Man TAS, Spectacular, Ultimate, Maximum Venom/2017? (Granted that last one Jameson didn't show up until season 2, the part where Chameleon turns into Jonah after a brief tussle was one of my favs.) Spidey - "Nope! No I cannot take *TWO* of him. This ends NOW! {punches one Jonah and it turns out to be Chameleon} Stan - "Wow Spidey, how did you know which one was the genuine journalist, and which one was the deplorable doppelganger?" Spidey - "I didn't. I just took a shot." Some folks don't like the 2017 Spider-Man cartoon, but how many others gave Spidey the perfect excuse to *PUNCH* J. Jonah Jameson in the face?

@@Dbzmaster159 no, I mean the comic series this story was from. It’s called Spidey. It’s not set in Earth-616.

@@supersonicfan7514Gotcha, but yeah there is a clip from the 2017 Spider-Man series where he fights Chameleon, and the quote I put in is there. It's always funny to me.

I remember hating the Spider Man comics as a young kid and teen in the 70's, especially when I went back and read the ones from earlier years. It was like the writers went out of their way to do everything they could to screw Peter Parker/Spider Man over and make his life a living hell. I hated that with a passion and it led to my not reading Marvel for a very long time. I wonder, sometimes, if that's not somehow part of the Spider Man mythos - almost like whatever incarnation of the character there is, he HAS to be hated by a majority of people.
