@liamencabo8682 жыл бұрын
@@StanvilleBrown It did. The first avenger movie was a good movie, not perfect but good. It laid out set pieces of characters and items we’d see later throughout the MCU, the winter soldier however really was the first time during the phase 2 - phase 3 era we’d see a main MCU character within their own trilogy get better and better with each passing movie. In Steve’s case The Winter Soldier and Civil War, do I think every movie within Phase 2 - Phase 3 are perfect? No, but with how the Russo brothers paved Captain America’s and the rest of the Avengers movies I couldn’t think of anyone else better suited for it. The first avenger was good within its own right, but for paving the way I think this one, winter soldier, really gave its mark. Captain America The First Avenger was the one to lay the ground work, Winter Soldier was the one to pick it up and pave that ground work for the rest of the MCU to be great on story telling, character arc and overall feel of how the rest of the phase played out up until now in Phase 4 since it is its own thing coming into its own.

Fun story: This film was also shot in and around Cleveland. When they were shooting the scene where Steve and Natasha are on the escalator at the mall, that was filmed at Tower City downtown. A friend of mine, photographer Scott Shaw, got a picture of the two of them kissing and it leaked everywhere, causing a lot of speculation as to whether there would be a romance storyline in the movie. LOL at how it actually turned out. Trivia: Nick Fury's long car chase begins and ends on the same corner by the Cleveland Public Library, starting on E. 6th Street and ending around the corner on Superior Ave.

What kinda sucks is Agents of SHIELD answers a lot of peripheral questions, but as it’s not canon, it’s hard to know what’s still the case. One of the World Council was Hydra. The tool Fury escapes his crashed SUV with was invented by Agent Fitz on AoS for just that sort of situation. Until the failed introduction of the Inhumans, the show and the movies were pretty well synced up. The failed Inhuman launch, rejected by the greater MCU became a major part of AoS and thus split it from the main continuum. It’s really too bad because there’s a lot of cool links between the show and the main MCU. Like Coulson’s teams being the ones who pulled the helicarrier Fury uses in Age of Ultron out of mothballs in the first place. And in fact, the Winter Soldier tie-ins were some of the show’s best episodes.

Its been widely known that Kevin Feige never really got along with the Marvel execs that ran the TV division. Feige didn't like the idea of a SHIELD tv show. i looked up the dates of when scripts were finalized, when movies and shows were filmed and when movies and shows were released. I came up with a theory that it seemed like Feige was altering events in the movies to distance themselves from the tv everytime the show tried to connect with the movies. Talk of a shield show began as early as Iron Man 2 and Avengers script would have been in its early draft, they wanted to spinoff Agent Coulson. What happened? he was killed off in Avengers The show gets approved anyways and Agent Coulson was brought back to life. What happened? Shield is brought down by Hydra in Winter Soldier When Feige revealed the movie slate for Phase 3 he had Inhumans on it. When the show introduced inhumans, Feige removed Inhumans from the slate. there were a few more obvious changes but they would be spoilers for the movies

I think the World Security Council is supposed to be analogous to the permanent members of the United Nations Security Council - US, UK, France, Russia, and China - except that in this movie it seems to be only US, UK, China, and India. I seem to recall it was bigger in THE AVENGERS but perhaps that's similar to the non-permanent members of the UN version. In AGENTS OF SHIELD it's revealed that Gideon Malick, the gravelly-voiced guy Fury talks to most in THE AVENGERS, was also a member of Hydra. RIP the great Powers Boothe.

IRL vehicles have an armored rating, which is used in relation to non-military vehicles, the highest level of which is level 7, which is most likely what Fury's car was. To see a realistic depiction what that looks like, watch 13 Hours. It also should be noted how penetrable normal vehicles are. An average 9mm pistol bullet can regularly piece car doors, trunks etc. Anything larger is a guarantee, though bullets behave uniquely when they hit vehicles, so it may bounce and tumble on impact. An AR-15 will go through any part on a car, with the possible exception of the engine block and axles. If you end up in a situation, get behind a wheel or the engine block, because that's all you got.

Captain America has better lung capacity, stronger heart, etc than any pro marathon runner, but he simultaneously has the stamina and leg power to outpace Usain Bolt in a sprint. But his body pushes lactic acid out of his muscles much faster, negating muscle fatigue for anything less than hours of strain. He can keep up the maximum human speed possible, for marathon distances.
