I think the Thunderbolts* title, is meant to indicate that we shouldn't be expecting the same number of Thunderbolts to be at the end of the film as starts in the beginning. A play on the fact that maybe only 1 or 2 actually make it out alive.

My theory on why the Thunderbolts titlr has * in is either a) its because the team loses majority of its members throughout thr movie. B) the keep fighting over what their team name should be or c) the team changes members after each mission. Kevin Feige sayinv they wont talk about it til after the movie tells me the * wont make sense to we see the movie.

"Thunderbolts*" could be a placeholder name because its a team first made by Thunderbolt Ross. It might be a nod to Fury changing names to the Avengers initiative in Captain Marvel.

I'm just pissed about Bucky being in the thunderbolts, because I'm pretty sure the title is going to change to something like the dark avengers at the end. You spent so much time reforming Bucky, two captain America movies were mostly entirely about him. Why do all that and reform him, only to make him join the bad side again? My opinion might change after I see the movie (I hope it does) because they need to justify Bucky being on that team after Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
