Wow! Can't believe I found this. I remember this came on a audio cassette with the Goblin Rat. Two absolutely terifying stories . Must have been about 7 when I heard this.

NO - WAY!!!! This used to scare the living crap out of me as a child. Certainly couldn't listen to it alone. It didn't help that The Goblin Rat was in the same issue. One spooky tape! Both really chilled me to my bones, so real and atmostpheric I can almost feel it now. Thought of Bones so many times throughout my life. Recently started looking on eBay for the tape and then tonight it hit it...You Tube!!! Thanks!

In my childhood I've heard Italian version but it was scariest than English version due to appropriate music during the story. It was one of scariest story of all set! Thank you for sharing it.

I remember listening to this a child. It scared and fascinated me. 30 years later, as i sit here eating watermelon, it still does. I will now go and clutch my pillow and hide under my bed whilst chewing on a sock....
