Always loved Michael Keaton. He was easily one of the best parts of this movie, which overall tends to be highly underrated. Even after his oscar snub, I hope he has somewhat of a resurgence. For both comedy and drama. However, I understand that before, much of him not having many roles is that he just wasn't interested rather than him not getting any offers.

such an under rated perfomance. Keaton was always a maniac every day guy back in the 80s, best example of this is in 89 batman the "Lets gets nuts" line. I wish there was film just about Captain Gene.

Love him as Batman. Beetlejuice. Johnny Dangerously. The Dream Team. Gung Ho. Birdman was awesome, too. Now, he's switching from DC to Marvel and will be The Vulture. I can go on and on and on about this world treasure. But as fucking Captain Gene, it's a crying fucking shame he doesn't win best actor in the globes and the academy awards, every year, until the end of time, for this movie! He should get lifetime achievement awards every year too!
