観に行ったな冒頭のナレーションが石原裕次郎でギャラが数分で2000万円か3000万円で話題になってた。でも正直なところ999が松本零士のピークで1000年女王とかアルカディアの時は下火だったね。でも何やかんやで松本零士の作品は全作品劇場に観に行った、なんか松本零士の世界観が好きだった。

The new movie was nowhere near as good as Arcadia of My Youth or the original series, sadly. It had everything right up to the halfway point... Then it all unraveled :/

+Kenneth Eaton they tried to mix the first Harlock short stories mangas with some endless odyssey/ring of Nibelungen references AND the fucking cycles part of the story, so with all this scenari they had to do at least a trilogy to exploit it well... it end-up with no actual Leiji mythos being seen, confusing and bad-timed plot twists, and how the fuck gaia federation uses FTL ships?

Iyadcqnsdqsl'o Ai² i noticed... As to how the Gaia Fed had FTL Ships... different continuity. And honestly that wasn't the issue. The issue was that it felt like they wanted to go one direction then someone stepped in and said "you can't do that".
