He does nothing but navigate the yacht otherwise he is sitting in wheelhouse or going downstairs for food. Note he never checks up on what’s going on,( totally unaware of Kate, not that it would matter for he would do nothing, as always, on yacht, “ONLY IF IT DISTURBS HIS SLEEP!”It then & only then gets his “full attention!”lol!🤣Drives my husband crazy w/ his laziness & “could care less attitude” but I love series & get a big kick out of it!! Watch the show, it's actually good. (If you can stand the commercials!! They're the main reason i had to stop watching Bravo for the most part...it's almost unbearable!) but then Project Runway moved back to Bravo, so I've been tuning in more lately. The people here who think he shows favoritism towards Kate and cackle that she's mean and a bully, just don't get it. This is a professionally staffed boat run by a no-nonsense captain who only expects individuals to do their job with efficiency and thoroughness. Yes, he likes Kate....because she follows his mold! It's not 'favoritism' at all. Her job sometimes is difficult because of the crazy psychos that always seem to be assigned to her interior (this season it was baby-tantrum-insubordinate Caroline as well as others). It's clear that Captain Lee is an 'old school', regimented, classy individual and I believe if he seems to be throwing more attention and respect Kate's way, its only because, in his mind, here is a rare millennial that actually does her job without pathetic excuses, like others in that crew. She exhibits qualities and a work ethic that mirrors his own. She's the best chief stew in Bravo's stable......and Captain Lee appreciates it.

@@mircat28 Exactly any one that says they despise Kate clearly doesn't watch any of the seasons especially the new one. This new chick thinks shes entitled to bother people to do her chores when everyone else is on duty especially Kate, who has been doing the most. All Kate does is let her fold laundry and take out the trash, yet she complains like she's working the hardest. She couldnt even take out the trash do to a sore foot as if she lost a limb or something.She called Chandler a 'narcissist' simply for not taking out the trash which when he was busy on deck. Obviously Kate talked about her, bit with reason cause she is obnoxious and a baby. But most importantly, Kate drives away from any conflict and gets her job done thats why she tends to be likable. People don't understand that she is technically in charge and responsible her interior crew. And as a boss, you can't follow with people's emotional problems that they use to undermine your job.

I love Captain Lee...all but using God's name in vain....I can take any other cussing, it makes my skin crawl when he uses God's name in vain...and it happens in every episode.

I agree! I love Captain Lee but no excuse for using God’s name in vain! Maybe he thinks it makes him look “tough or cool” but if he really wants to look tough,how about reprimanding Kate, “even ONCE!” Now “THAT” will impress us & not his cursing!🤣

karen strycharz I don’t get the Bravo channel anymore, so I don’t watch any of the shows that is aired on Bravo. I just can’t understand using God’s name in vain. He needs to show some discipline Kate. I’m doing fine without Bravo!

Watched Lee immediately suspect a crew member of flipping the boat into gear causing damage to a mooring which turned out to be an equipment failure. Bad decision; good crew. Then he failed to follow up on a deck crew with an obvious arm injury and subsequently denied him an opportunity to speak when he requested it, being the Captain and Employer’s Representative. Lee might have sailing credentials but he is a lousy manager of staff/crew. 🦨🦨🦨🦨🦨
