I would love to see him come back, but also with a brand new captain on board so he can mentor him. At 73 his body is not able to fulfill the requirements of a full time captain. Season 10 was hard to watch because he was in pain.

2:17 correct me if I'm wrong because I don't exactly remember the COLREGS but the sail boat was running on an electric engine so power vessel rules should apply. If it was a head on situation then both vessels should have altered course to starboard and passed port to port but if the smaller boat approached from the super yachts port side then the smaller vessel would be the "stand on" vessel meaning it would have been the smaller vessels fault anyway. Basically, to me it seems like the people in the smaller boat seriously need to read the COLREGS properly before they next leave dock.
