Robert Meyer Burnett, Captain Marvel is a Phase 3 movie. It comes out in March 2019, Avengers 4 is May 2019. Spider-Man 2 is the first film of phase 4, in July 2019.

I always understood the phases to be: Phase 1: IM1&2, incredible hulk, cap first avenger, thor1, the Avengers Phase 2: im3, winter soldier, dark world, guardians 1, age if Ultron, Phase 3: Ant-Man, civil war, doctor strange, guardians 2, Spider-Man Homecoming, Thor ragnorak, black panther, infinity war, Ant-Man and the Wasp and Avengers 4, Captain Marvel Phase 4: Spider-Man 2, etc

Dredd (2012) was a good live-action adaptation of the comic. Karl Urban nailed the character. Definitely far better than the 1995 film starring Sylvester Stallone, Armand Assante and Rob Schneider. I think it is great there will a Judge Dredd: Mega City One TV series. I hope Karl Urban returns to the Judge Dredd role.

I can sympathise with all the Inhumans fans. Suicide squad is my favourite comic book and a film adaptation never seemed likely. I enjoyed the movie enough (mainly for the characters) but the plot was so atypical for the squad. I hope Inhumans is better than what's being said and that the hatred doesn't backfire onto the comics.

i still think Iron Fist would've been a better "Kung Fu team up" movie, filmed in a remote area of China, with Madripoor as the city location for the other half of the film. Lewis Tan (who played Zhou Cheng in episode 8, the drunken master) as Shang-Chi, teamed up with Finn/Danny Rand, fighting the Hand in Madripoor/NYC for 2 hrs would've been 10x better than the entire season.

I really wanted to see the Warbird costume, at least for a short period or flashback, in the Captain Marvel movie. I grew up reading comics with this character, and always thought her costume was cool. Kind of like seeing Jessica Jones in her superhero costume pre-Purple Man. But I doubt they'll do it.

Basically the schedule is: 2018 Avengers 3 2018 Ant-Man & the Wasp 2019 Captain Marvel 2019 Avengers 4 And everything is happening in phase 3. Nothing in 'phase 4' has been announced yet except for Guardians and Spider-Man, because it would probably spoil some characters not dying in the avengers movies.

I just saw Wonder Woman! After hating Man of Steel, Batman V Superman, and Suicide Squad I was very frustrated with the DCEU. But after watching this film my faith in DC has been restored. I absolutely loved this film. It was everything I wanted and more. We finally have fantastic female led superhero movie that isn't pretentious or obnoxiously feminist. But it's definitely empowering all the same. Gal Gadot is amazing as Wonder Woman. And Chris Pine as always was just a joy to watch. Great humor, incredible action and lovable characters. My only complaint is the constant overuse of slow motion throughout the movie. But other than that I adored this movie and I highly recommend seeing it in the theater!

And I had the exact opposite review. Absolutely loved MoS and everything after has been terrible (BvS), garbage (SS) and just meh (WW) WW is getting praised so hard because it's being compared to shit within it's own universe, review wise of course even though I have no idea what movie the critics were watching when they saw MoS. You can also tell most people love that one because Nolan even helped write he script and you can definitely see it int he writing. WW on the other hand is out praising its major flaws due to the fact it's a female superhero movie and nothing else. If this was the same story with a male character it would have been torn apart by the critics. WW apologists cannot see the truth at all. The SJWs also defeat their own agenda because they fight for things like equality but fail to judge the merits of Wonder Woman for the same critiques offered to other movies in the same genre. I actually the respect the opinions of people who say they loved Wonder Woman as a character in the film but the story was just okay. Every time I meet someone like that, I'm like thank god there's sane people out there (and These are both males and females in case you were wondering) I honestly think we have seen stronger female characters already but because this is the first female superhero to have their own movie it was destined to succeed. Anyone surprised at its success is an idiot who didn't see that it would make money on this merit alone

There are definitely a few disappointing MCU costume interpretations. Off the top of my head Quiksilver and Scarlet Witch aren't that good, but I sort of understand why a bright green full-body suit and a red leotard with a cape and a big headpiece don't translate to the screen pretty well. I thought Thor's costume for the first like 2/3 of Avengers looked like a bad SyFy TV budget costume, but I was glad they held back for the big reveal of his transformation into his better-looking armor right before the final battle. Some costumes were just a little disappointing because of the color correction across all the MCU films - Spider-man comes the closest to being comic book bright. There's so much attention to detail in Guardians of the Galaxy in Gamora or Nebula, but it's sort of diminished by the amount of time we spend in dark ships and on dark planets and also by the way all those colors are muted. Bring me lime-green Hulk and a Black Panther suit that's actually black instead of glittery dark grey!

Something just look bad on film though. A completely pitch black Black Panther suit wouldn't translate. And Hulk was super saturated nuclear green in the 2003 Hulk too and that looked awful. A lot of people saying Spidey's new suit looks bad and fake too because it's soo matte and bright. I love it though personally.

am a right in saying captain marvel is set in the 90s and is its own standalone movie antman 2 is set after civil war and is its own standalone movie after that is the next avengers movie. so any set up to the untitled avengers movie in 2019 will be in infinity war

what they should have done with inhumans they should have kept it as à movie and the focus should have been on the royalfamily & attilan and they should'vs done a tv serie (with a better director of cours) title NUhumans(which is not only a spin off of the movie but also a spin off of agent of shield) and the focus is on the rise of inhumans after terrigene got spread across the world (it happend in the film) in the serie society.

scott buck was creatively responsible for iron fist and after the inhumans trailers dropped i just get a sense that it won't be very compelling. reserving full judgement though. as for iron fist, after the first 5 eps i didn't believe in the characterization of danny rand. i have to respectfully disagree robert, the fist 5 eps of IF had me sold on this enlightened young monk warrior characterization, i thought we were getting a fully realized danny rand as iron fist and then they just fucked it up. i felt like i was watching marvel's version of a dctv show.

Yes, I think there are a number of fans of Moon Knight that would love to see a live-action film of that Marvel character. I believe there was an article where James Gunn, director of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. (2017), disclosed he had pitched the idea of a Moon Knight film to Marvel Studios earlier this year. Let's all hope it gets the green light.
