I've been watching alot of Captain Planet right now, it's given me the mood to try to make my local Raisin' Cane's that I work at more environmentally safe, everytime I get scheduled to work there, I always get pumped up to clean up around here since I'm a floater (that means I clean up all the shit around the place) & I'm the only one who does the freaking sanitation checklist most of the time but that being said, I really like what this show is doing and kind of had the idea of having a reboot of the series where it has the Planeteers turning into there own superheroes, fusing with eachother in different combinations to make new ones, but still summoning their powers to create Captain Planet [and the heroes' designs would be based off the Elemental Heroes from Yugioh GX (with Neos being shown as Captain Planet and the Neo Spacians being shown later in the series as pets for the Planeteers and powerups for Captain Planet, leading to Neos's Fusions) the only episodes I have problem with is the ones that talk about Overpopulation ("The Population Bomb" & "Numbers Game"), I mean I don't think the problem is that there's too many people in this world, I think the real problem is that there are too many people who don't understand the importance about being eco-friendly, so I think people have a right to have how many kids they want as long they have the responsibility, money, and caring to do so and that they teach them how to protect the environment, instead of making third-and-later born children of their family feel like they're the problem also I want Warner Bros to do a Direct-to-DVD movie of this series where they it's about how companies use Recycling in their public marketing to get people to waste and buy more, and that we should focus more on reusing and reducing what we use instead of thinking that all we need to do is recycle only but what do you think?

I just want to reiterate for everyone here. This is a fan trailer for a movie that is not in production. Just a bunch of friends got together because they thought it would be fun. The fact that you might think this is a real trailer just lends credence to how well done this trailer was made on a shoe string budget.

JustAnotherProductionProductions I watched this trailer twice and I grew up watching this tv show when I was a kid, you guys made the most unbelievable trailer and for a second I didn't even know this was a fan made trailer!!! I literally thought it was the real thing until I started to read comments :(. You guys should SERIOUSLY look into releasing this if there ever was a way for you to make the full production, I absolutely LOVED IT!!!!!!! That actor was perfect for the role and I'm dying to wanna watch an entire film of this with the same exact actors used. And the ending with him telling the guy to pick up the pepsi can made me laugh soooo hard, that just put the frosting on the cake lol!! Please consider this! Take care guys

JustAnotherProductionProductions I also really love the trailer and I also grew up with Captain Planet as well. I'd have to say however, if you actually wanted to make this an actual movie all you would have to do was show this trailer to the people who have the rights and ask them to help sponsor the making of the actual movie and there you you go.Max Steel had a good point that there's a lot of DC/Marvel heroes and not enough heroes like Captain Planet. I bet if you seriously think about it and actually make this a movie, you could bring something back that has been gone for so long.

Thank you Alex Silver! We actually had conversations with the studio that owns the rights. They found the trailer once it went viral and we were in talks with them. They called us personally. After speaking with them, and the actual creators of Captain Planet, it was a lost cause. The project has been "in development" for close to four years now. Our agents and managers have reached out to them recently, but we've gotten no response in return.
