'The Flying Man' has a retro feel (especially since flying is apparently one of his many abilities; this feels slightly like Zack Snyder) that contrasts nicely with the realistic physics in your depiction of violence. It looks SO GOOD...only thing that sticks out to me is that all the world's governments would have been alerted by the end of his first exposé on the news and they'd have done everything in their power to contain this guy.

I love the idea of Superhero story which is told from perspective of your average person who see him or the criminals he hunts and little is actually reviled about the Superhero's nature and nothing about his identity is reviled. It adds a strong sense mystery, wonder, and foreboding of watching a demigod act on his own morality and not subject to any kind of authority, and no one can stop him.

Your statement is sadly incorrect. A hero is someone who helps others for no greater purpose than they believe it’s the right thing to do but they do so within the law. A vigilante does the same but ignores the law. To put it in perspective Batman is a vigilante commissioner Gordon is a hero

I feel your statement of what a hero is contradicts what you say about Batman, he combats evil night after night in the name of justice and to protect life, he seeks to make sure no one would have to go through the pain that he went through with his parents. Batman is just as a hero as someone like superman. I feel a lot of people misunderstand him for a anti hero just because hes mean a lot of the time. I wouldn't say he's the same as Superman, he uses fear and intimidation to stop the criminals, where as Superman is a beacon of hope and only uses force when necessary. Another thing is that theres a difference between anti hero and vigilantism. Being a vigilante is being some who fights crime or acts to enforce justice outside of the law and usually enacts on their own morals, Superman or even spiderman are technically vigilantes, Batman can also be classified as one, but he would be more of a consultant to the police cus he constantly works with cops and Commissioner Gordon. An anti hero would be a vigilante that has no set line or morality. Batman had a rule of never killing, a rule so cemented in his mind that unless the universe is at steak and there's no other way, he won't do it. But someone like Deadpool or the Punisher would definitely be anti hero's, men with no line holding them back, sure they fight criminals, but the way they do it is morally incorrect. And anti hero's are usually more uncontrollable and chaotic, and will complete their goal by any means necessary.

I really do like this film, it asks the question other Super Hero filmes don't really take a time to look at. What would the effect of a Super Vigilante be on our society? No, not a superhero, a Vigilante, with superpowers, a super human force that takes the law into its own hands, that the law can't stop. How will people react, how will the world react. I think this film does a good job showing that, in direct and subtle ways. That's why you never really see the 'hero' has anything human, as an idenity, because they are not the point, the effect of their existence is the whole point of the story.
