How do you get the score to show up on screen. I dont think my game is registering the score at all

I was thinking, it will be possible to have a "play video only" mode to play with real toys?

Thanks, that's a really interesting idea. I've given it some thought and reasoned that what you're asking for is just a way to play the videos to use with the toys, which provide no feedback to the computer. The videos are already available for use on KZbin and they can be downloaded to play in whatever dedicated video player you want to use. There's nothing to gain from playing them through Hypseus. So it's a great idea but not a feature that I'll implement. Thanks for bringing it though. :)

@@widge Ok, because you can use Recalbox to play Hypseus games. And you can plug Recalbox RGB Dual to a CRT TV. But it's ok I will do it in another way.

It's occurred to me that you could play through the whole video without interacting with it if you keep the cursor in one corner, where it won't make contact with any of the targets. The cursor's origin is in the top-left, if you don't move it at all you'll be ok, you just won't be able to skip the intro as you need to shoot in the lower region of the screen. But you could just move it to one of the lower corners then you can also skip the intro.

can you make a molded version for Cobra Command ？

It's something I can look at. I believe there are already several daphne and mame incarnations of Cobra Command but for joystick controls, per the original arcade game. A Lightgun/mouse adaptation would require a full rewrite as there's no existing singe-based version to modify. I already have a few projects in progress so this won't be any time soon though.

It's not a new game.its a molded version of the vhs game.

Thanks for noticing. I hoped that would be apparent. It's new to computers and it's not played quite the same as with the toys but you're right, it makes use of the classic video content to bring something of the old game to new players.
