Basically yhwach can't see into the soul king with his eyes, the soul king is an entity far superior than him (also the soul king has 4 irises while yhwach has 3, meaning the ability of the soul king is stronger). It is also mentioned by Ichibe during their meeting that yhwach can't see into the soul king. The right arm is part of the soul king so the future linked with it is not visible to yhwach

It has nothing to do with being superior. Soul King can't be affected by Soul King related stuff. Like fullbringers(Orihime)

@@Luan._.Mark1 what you are saying is true, but he can't be affected by things correlated with him because he has a superior version of those (the original): his eyes' power is stronger, his fullbringers power are stronger than orihime's etc etc

I love the parallels of Ukitake's resolve with Unohana's resolve. She died with utter content knowing she was dying for her true purpose, and here we have Ukitake doing essentially the same and they both used similar lines to express their contentness to their duty. 2 types of battle, one to protect life, and one to protect honor, and we see Ukitake being honored to give his life to protect the lives of others, and Kyoraku throwing away honor to protect the lives of others.

Shunsui - Aizen banter , talk in riddles is just pure art of persuasion. Knowing Aizen who can't be controlled , Shunsui doesn't directly ask him to save SS, but instead give him a little bit restricted freedom which indirectly work in his favour. While Aizen find Shunsui an interesting fella, in the way he persuade him and he is not hesitate to use any wild card he had even to release their biggest threat

2 things i want to say for anime only people and non spoilers: First that Yhwachs Almighty couldnt see the right arm maybe because it was Soul Kings arm or because the right arm symbolizes Stillness hence obviously it would not have any future to it(i know the main reason but yeah this theory can be made by just this episode). Secondly, do you know Aizens interaction chapter was named "The Return of a God"? Also how smug of Shunsui, Aizen undid his seals of left eye and ankles and when he asked Shunsui to use 2 more keys, Shunsui used the keys on the left eye and Ankles😂😂

It "stilled" his disease? That's right. The Soul King's Right Arm works by preserving things as they are, with no further progress; that's how it's kept Ukitake alive for so long without changing or improving his health in the slightest. For the most traditionalist shinigami (like Ichibei) the Right Arm embodies their wish to preserve the status-quo at all cost.

@israelleon he was NEVER underutilized. He was just there for a specific PURPOSE , one that he fulfilled. He was sick (remember how he couldn't even help Kaien against a mere hollow) from the beginning so it was never guaranteed that he could hold a fight without having a cough episode but he did help saving Rukia in SS arc and was always there for support in arrancar and fullbringer arc.
