Great vid as always Benzie! A tip from me though to all drone users like myself - your drones WILL continue attacking their targets once they are released even if you leave the control range (only one drone will come back, the rest will stay on attacking). This would work great with kiting if you want to fight enemies 2+ tiers higher than you. Once you whittle one down, just close in enough into range so you can unleash the command to attack the next target then pull back out again. I cleared T7 encounters with this method on a T4 Algos. Happy farming everyone

So far I've mainly skilled up to level 4 in a missile focused direction. Nothing into drones. However after watching this I am really interested in trying out drones! I just feel like I would be wasting skilling time I could be putting into the skill path I have already been following by branching off into something else. I too enjoy the Dragoon for the Drone support. I especially like the damage the warriors can do. One might look into the various Drone Speed and Damage Modules that are available at market and to build through industry. The Drone speed one is very inexpensive and uses materials from anomaly ship debris you can process. I am still working on kiting since I maxed my targeting having more ships to deal with. I still have work to do with manual vs auto orbiting since my targets have a neck for ripping through my shields. Knowing how to orbit is helpful. Great video Captain!

Need it spelt out man? Just try and see what happens, hint it says auto orbit. Sometimes with a game you just have to play it.

Watched your video on group shield thrasher and took it one step farther and futted my stabber sniper Brawler fit with 2 med group shield booster and had 2 tracking 2 gyroscope and one afterburner in low slot at first which did well in my advanced encounters. My dps was 898.84 so to make this alitlle more tanky I replaced a gyroscope with the reactor shield hardener and then. Put a third tracking computer took out all gyroscopes Dps solid 574. But after feeling invisible I ended up losing this ship to a drone boat. Thanks for this video i think I'll have something new for you soon Enjoy playing with the. Sniper brawler group shield tank .

Hey, thank you so much for the quality content here. I love Eve Echoes and used to play Eve Online. I have a question for you. I chose Gallente and drones because it appealed to me. My corporation is in 0.0 and I mostly clean anomalies with my mates, who all run Caracal with missiles... Some say that drones are pretty useless and do not compare to missile. With the medium drones being so expensive at the moment, I consider going full missiles and running a Caracal to make money and solo T6. What do you think ? Should I keep with drones and be patient or go Caracal and missiles ? Drones being destructibles, and missiles not having ammunition... i'm starting to think they are right Thank you for your advice

I think I've watched every video you've put out in the past 3 months and feel very prepared. 1. Is High Sec space TRULY safe from attack? I know in Eve Online you were still vulnerable to suicide ganks, but did Eve Echos make it impossible to be attacked in high sec? (AFK mining for example) 2. Can you make a video on good rig combinations along with penalties: Combat/engineering/industry. Confused on what it means by "similar rig penalties". Does similar mean using a mining amount increase with a miner recharge decrease, or does it just mean using two of the same rigs (2x miner yield).

Going across the target is making you take smaller damage? Wouldn't kiting away from them present a smaller target (the rear of your ship) vs the broadside of your ship?

Can someone explain what's going on when your drone is in mid combat then it's icon starts to blink and no standby or attack subicon? And is the only rectification is to recall and relaunch?

Kinda hitting a bit of a lull in the game but having fun. Think I'm just in a grindy window. About halfway through lvl 4, just completed the advanced tutorial to get the dragon trainer. I've got a mess of modules in my hanger and a coercer that I think is decently fitted. Sometimes I need to get a little creative with capacity management in battle but I can usually eat through encounters without leaving. Just feels like I should be doing more 🤷

you missed a gallente battlecrusier myrmidon and amarr prophecy, gurista ships got nice drone dps boosts but you can use only 2 drones (still, they are awesome)

When my drones die I just push the button and they come back and refresh to be reused. They weren't destroyed for me in a vexor trainer or algos trainer

Would the Algos trainer with drones and missles be good to do higher tier anomalies and encounters keeping distance from enemies to make isk? Would the enemies focus fire on me or would they kill the drones? Drones are super expensive lol

AI doesn't shoot drones so you'll be fine. Make sure you orbit with an AB and all that fun stuff. I'd move onto a double rep double nos vexor
