Why didnt you mention metamorphesis? In my opinion its best ship for relic/data site hunting. Sub 2s warp out, passive warp stabilizer, covert ops cloak. All the bonuses for scanning. You just zoom through systems/worholes hacking.

How do you actually find the wrecks?

Recently had a freighter going through infamous Uuhanlamen 0.5 , think I spelled it wrong but you know the system. Scouted it out before crossing over. Didn't see a blob of nados or catas. Looks good to cross I thought. So I let my guard down and became really careless hauling like 2.5B worth of no-weight skins I could've hauled in a frigate. I was cutting corners and just wanted to get the freighter back to jita. Well It was not safe after all and was targeted by a bumper. Kept bumping me preventing full alignment. 5 minutes later stuck in this embarrassing moment of failed alignment he brings his blob of 30 or so destroyers(likely mutltiboxibg). Made some silly mistakes and probably could've saved the ship but instead my brain shut off and I went into panic mode. Many lessons learned that day xD

Here's the biggest truth, 90% of gamers do not like hard games, they've been pampered with easy pew-pew games. I know I shouldn't say this, but watch Asmongolds attempt at Stalker 2. I've been in this game for over 20 years on and off, and when I make a new char, the rookie chat drives me nuts wondering how they would have got on in the beginning, the amount of people who rage quit at scanning was hilarious, and they still complain about it now when it virtually does most of it on its own. One thing I will say though is that when I started I was a full time carer, so at any point would have to just leave the game and sort problems out, so I never really got the chance to get involved in PvP, and I'm nearly 70 now so don't think I will.

Hey Benzie, I plan to train into Vargur myself although I still struggle a bit to decide which Marauder to take (I am in Blood raider space and my corp suggest Paladin, but this ship looks like a too long finger... ) However, this video reference the prior one in terms of the right Vargur fit. But the Vargur C5 Runner fit of the former video is not the one you use here....(e. g. micro jump drive is missing) could you please share the best Vargur fitting again with me? Thx!

Interesting explanation. It's confusing when you say all ships without warp core stabilizers are at zero. I always said "if you got a car with an engine, you can drive, if have no engine, you ain't movin". Therefore every ship has +1 warp "engine" strength, not zero, cause saying all ships are standard at zero is very confusing and misleading. So it makes sense to me that zero means no ability to move even if you say its a positive. Zero = nothing = you are dead in space. Venture has (1) +2 and therefore needs -3 against it to be zero, which would make it dead warping in space. Much easier I'd say if your ship is at 0 speed means you can't warp.

A little late to the conversation, but I feel like I have something to contribute. Since I started playing in 2007, I've always have had 3 accounts. One hauler, one 'main' and one support character for when I was 'soloing'. I only broke the bank in the last couple of years and now run 10 accounts simultaneously. The reason I made the switch? There was an activity I enjoyed doing with my corporation and the individual who ran that particular activity decided they didn't want to anymore. And since I didn't have enough pull in the corp to bring the players online and go do the thing. I decided I'd multibox the bare minimum of accounts to solo the content. That way if I come up short on corp mates to run with me, the one guy that comes along can still do the activity.

Your second main point on eve is a pvp game by default made me laugh, not that I disagree with you but the way you dumbed it down for even the dumbest people to understand. I remember the first day I started this game and took a trip around the eve universe on my first day. Not sure how many jumps I did but I know I ended up in null sec from caldari space and not long after entering I was swiftly killed and podded back to empire space. I knew from that moment that I was hooked on this game Admittingly my main focus is more on the industrial side these days but I still find it enjoyable compared to other games.

Ive lived in null and its only safer because u have 1000's of alliance members and 100's docked up all day, well until the Bombers Bar opens a cyno amd drops 60+ stealth bombers on station lol

So on the subject of the Angel Cartel you are correct until you get to their titan. Also the only pirate titan that doesnt use one of the 4 main empires ship designs it is name Azariel which is an angel from Christian and Jewish theology.

The only true time i've ever seen a multibox requirement has been if you want to fly capitals for some large blocks, and its just that your capital flyer is typically an alt. So that escalations can happen more rapidly if needed. I know in the past before keepstars titans were basically "coffins" because you couldnt dock them so you had to have another toon if you wanted to play. But that was back before titans were so prolific. I run 3 accounts normally just so i can use 2 toons as bridgers and another in a blockade runner or 2 mining and 1 in station as defence against belt rats.. I know all of these things could be accomplished with a corp but real life means i step away from eve for long periods of a time. Normally a few months so i try not to be burdensome to corporations by being inactive

There is a counter to every strategy. This is the counter to fast moving ships in low-sec. That being said, the cost to a smart-bomber's security rating should be expensive enough that it is not used without consideration and goals beyond collecting killboard kills. Also, alphas should not be able to come off safety green, so that ganking/smart bombs is not an investment-free activity.

One of my favorite wormhole stories. I don't remember the alliances involved but someone showed up for good fights and the defenders blobbed them then shit talked in local. So the attackers reshipped reffed every structure the defenders owned without trouble and just said "be nicer next time"

I started quest with that Producer, I went and harvested the ore he wanted came back to station and I'm guess because I mined the ore in a different location I ruined the whole damn quest. I tried selling the ore and going exactly where he wanted me to go and proceeded to mine the ore and again went back to station and had zero luck. Both task were highlighted green with check marks and yet I couldn't complete the mission. Such a bummer too because once you abandon the quest you cant redo it, I guess for whatever the cooldown time frame is. Also I didn't know you can lose credibility with people if you abandon their quest? Crazy how much this game doesn't show ya. So much to learn just to get started with EVE. I'm now looking for, "things I wish I knew when first learning how to play eve online"....

I didn't even realize they could end up worse. Tried this once on a warp disruptor II and got a pretty good roll. Promptly lost the ship in a FW plex :D

Man, I've played EVE on and off for years and I'll admit my studying of it is lazy. But things like "Enduring means it's better on cap" is so handy to hear. In previous sessions I'd sit using the compare tool to see what did what, but to just know that a module prefix actually means a specific thing and isnt just a random name is so useful when looking for a fit in the future.

For some reason this fit cant run c3's, i just tried running a normal C3 system with no system affects and even with a 1.5b upgraded fit i cant run it

In my time exploring when I played I only ever found a Red Giant, Wolf Rayet, and Cataclysmic Variable. I was too afraid to explore super deep into J-Space which is probably why I never found the Black Hole system I wanted to find.

Benzi, completely agree, ive lived in nullsec for over 10 years its massively safe, ive done more personal "empire" building on my toon than i could have ever done in WH, Hi/L Sec, it does get boring though, content sometimes though is the driver..... only undock what your willing to lose! these whingebags might need to level up abit :) This is a brutal game though.....theres no gamesmanship in eve, chivalry or pistols at dawn....you bring 14 T1 cruisers in you may get HAW dreadbombed... youre right its a show of force and a content killer..... come to brave space we will feed you and give you fun fights and stay classy :)

Hi Benzi, appreciate you run WH sites mostly, but the Ishtar is a null sec site runner, over-propped. Ive been using it since the VNI was nerfed for the same thing (well over 5 yrs ago) but i can run Null Havens and im sure ive run a sanctum before in one back in the day. Its the pinnacle of AFK ratting but since drone aggro changes you do need to pay attention but thats nothing a few keyboard shortcuts cant sort out. Getting about 20mil ticks if i target properly. Its low button press making isk and i still use it in null. Far cheaper than a rattle / spider stormbringers or carrier ratting.
