In Resident Evil 4, if you kill the Merchant, he'll disappear for the rest of the game I'm pretty sure. I remember it from when I was a kid, but I have never done it personally because it was my friend who owned it back then, and I just never wanted to risk not ever getting him back lol

Nah, The Merchant only disappears where the player kills him, he's still accessible on other locations. For example, the Merchant died near the Cabin via player after the defend segment, making him inaccessible at that spawn point for the rest of the game, but u'll see him again by the end of the two routes(where El Gigante/Ganados awaits).

Ultrakill has one of my favorite "punishment for jerks" mechanics in level 4-2: God Damn the Sun, there's a dead Stalker behind the statue of liberty with a sand castle in front of it. if this sand castle is destroyed, a large explosion centered on the Stalker is created, and will kill the player in one hit, regardless of how far they can get from it. the only way to survive the explosion is to have the Invincibility cheat active

In DRG kicking barrels isn't the only thing the Mission Control gets mad about it. If you start pinging mushroom (specific one), compressed gold and Aquarq, mission control will also be upset about this.

If you kick EVERY barrel in the space rig into the launch bay you even get an achievement and I believe unique dialogue. You can also kick them into the drop pod itself for special dialogue and again another achievement if you get them all inside.
