One of the emergency radio transmissions in Subnatica is recorded by the Neebs crew. Also Conan has another tribute to the Neebs crew made after they did their first playthrough. Think this backstory needs a little more explaining, Jazza (real name Josiah Brooks) is an artist KZbinr who famously made a playthrough of Passpartout, there is a character in the game called Benjamin, Jazza took an immediate interest in him, and decided to draw Benjamin in various amorous situations, dubbing him “Sexy Benjamin” his playthrough has been watched by thousands and to give thanks to him the developers of Passpartout added him to the game as a playable character and gave him his own mode, plus if your artwork is particularly well made, then Benjamin will comment something along the lines of “this is almost as good as the Sexy Benjamin Movie” a fictional movie created by Jazza

Markipier and Jack Septic Eye have easter eggs in Subnautica. Mark has a bobble head in one of the life pods. Jack has Septic Sam (his mascot) in a base in Subnautica Below Zero. 8-bit Ryan also has a whole character and side quest in Dying Lite 2.
