I definitely would have fun using those by pairing them up with a small grid platform I made to place down small grid auto or artillery turrets. Might make a bigger and/or smaller version of the platform to fit modded weapons like bofors or vulcans.

I probably wouldn't use this exact turret, with those hinges- but I'd absolutely modify it a bit to be a bit less Clangy, with just a single piston to carry the ammo instead.

The hinges swing around a lot... I think if you put just a small amount of braking torque it wouldn't do that so much. Will have to experiment.

The chains are pretty apparent weak points admittedly, so not exactly good for standard pvp, but for roleplay? That shit is fricken golden!

Looks like it has been built with redundant piping so losing the chain link hinges won't hinder its rearming ability.

I do see you point though it's components cost isn't PVP friendly. Even if it can all be built from a survival kit the time to relink each chain? You got me twisted like a pretzeled skeleton. Just depends on how deep your pockets are.

I am def. missing something here. How many rockets do those rocket pots have? I thought I was 4 per pod and once empty you would need to handload them, but you fired more salvos than that in both the into and the demonstration
