Im not sure if it will be an actual update for doors, if we take the crossover they did with tower heroes, the partnering game will have a bunch of stuff while doors just promotes it and makes it a cool lobby, I dont think its a bad thing and I love when doors helps out other games

Even if they make it a seperate game-mode the entire game will be locked behind 13+. Also Imo blood doesn't really fit Doors, I just can't think of a way to put it in except for when an Entity kills a player and maybe in the Library so you wouldn't really see it much.
