Having a looter is FAR better then a speed runner, just be sure to warn them if they lights flicker so they can hide, speedrunners on the other side will dash through rooms making everyone also have to run, usually their too far ahead for others to see the lights flicker in the room they just entered and get all their teamates killed

Im a looter but i never bought any item in the shop before the game starts, because i know my luck is quite good if ppl give me time to loot My best luck is when i got a flashlight and a battery in the same room, then several rooms later i got a lighter, then there is this one room where i used up all my lighters and half of the flashlight, then i also found 2 bandages in a time where i needed it the most, then just in a few more rooms i found another lighter and a battery, sadly i died in room 88 because of seek :( Edit : also this is when im playing duo with my friend but she died like around room 30 or 40 ish because of the first seek, first i was carrying her but it ended up me solo the game and that is also the first game where i could beat the library alone

I once met a guy who kept explaining every entity like I didn't know any of them, but hadn't even gotten to the 2nd seek chase Edit: I forgot to add this, but I had told him multiple times that I had already beat the game, and knew the entities, yet he ignored me everytime.

I'm a mix of a looter and a pro. I know all the monsters and how to survive them and i'm constantly opening drawers. Whenever i'm playing by myself, I always challenge myself to open EVERY SINGLE drawer (unless in a dark room). I was once in a server with this guy who said "If any of you die, spectate me". I replied with "Why?". He said "because it's rude to leave the game when you die." He ended up dying in the first seek chase and left the game... threw that rule right out the window

You forgot the challengers: Do more and harder challenges like no sound challenge or no hide challenge but are also sometimes speed runners who are also challengers. (And also sometimes have youtube channels sharing their challenges and sometimes their speed run challenges.) Here’s some I made up The non-rebounder: has a difficult time with ambush and hates the entity for always dying to it after their 2nd seek chase The arachnophobic: you hate Timothy and/or fear him at being in your drawers The double edged sword: you have trouble in the seek chase due to the left or right choice on where the blue door is, causing you to waste time The curious: you try to find rare entities such as warped jack, shadow, or window The glitched: you abuse glitches that help you and your team progress The anxious room of darkness: you mainly hate dark rooms only because you know screech lurks there, or can’t find your surroundings. The troll v2: you hog closets right before people get in so you get the betrayal badge, or you spam vitamins to make people die to glitch entity The lost book: you can’t find the 8th and final book in room 50 so you have to guess the final digit So yeah

Now, if you ask me, hiders can really be in TRUE danger since it doesnt prevent Seek or Screech from interfering with them, not to mention also Hide. I'm usually being looters. I loot (almost) every single drawer i see, especially big ones in desks because they're always containing useful handy items, like Lighter, Lockpick, Vitamins, or even the Key to the door (if locked). But i'm sometimes just being an Achievement Hunter in hunger for badges, like Meet Jack and Error.

I could win almost every time, but I leave when everyone else does because then it's boring. No action in the chat. Also you missed one: The non-chatters These people never respond to ANYTHING happening in chat and are usually pretty bad at the game and die early. They never tell anyone about where the keys are or what the code is. They just won't talk.

I’m a weird mix between the noob and the hider. I’ll get too paranoid and begin to hide for no reason. That can happen at any point in my run. The reason why I’m the noob is cause I just began playing Doors. I can only get to Seek 1. I’m really bad at chase scenes. 😅 I don’t really know what to do and when to do it.

I started playing the game today . So far i have 12 runs the first one dying at around 30 bc of halt (i didn't know what to do ) . The rest i kept dying at 50 bc the figure kept touching me (but now i know the safe spots and its pattern so it is easier)except for two runs. The first one i reached level 100 but died to figure cuz i was impatient and the second one my game crashed at 70 . So i would say that i am average .. maybe? (Never died to a rush so far and also survived an ambush first try)

I'm a mix of a lot. A HUGE MIXTURE, You could make this a whole separate type! 4. The Looter. Ever since my peak in Rooms has been acquired, and Jeff's recent price change, I've been looting a lot more. Another Reason: Lockpicks. You can buy 2 for 50 Knobs, and potentially get another from looting, which helps the first reason. 5. Closet Hiders, only applies to Rooms. You expected this, right? Every twist and turn I make in Rooms leads me either to my demise or a locker. 8. Achievement Hunter I'm also partially this. I hunt achievements, like Betrayal, Unbound, Stay out of my Way, You can run, etc. so I can display a full collection of badges, my best as of 4/14/23 is Back on Track, which is exit the Rooms, but not getting to A-1000. Every round my strategy changes as the map does, so every room I reveal, I analyse it, and Figure out what I wanna do with it. For a #15, I'd call this: The Randomizer

EDIT: Any updates will happen in the reply section, as I cannot fit any more into this comment because of the character limit. If you are interested in reading more, check the reply section. Time to list all the ones I know: -Max 50: Knows how to do seek on the first area, but for some reason just dies to The Figure on level 50 every time. These are actually the more common side of the player base, and I honestly don't understand how they don't understand that they can hear your heartbeat. -For the fun: This person doesn't easily get scared by pretty much anything, they just play the game because others do. They somewhat like the premise, but they like the idea of seeing their friends happy about them liking the game they play. Just a joy to be around. -Lag: That player that lags out for 5 rooms, complains that they died, and repeats this cycle. If it weren't for their bad internet or them playing on mobile, they probably would be very good. -Gacha life player: Saw the game through some variety on TikTok or whatever and thought the game looked cool. Played, thought it was cool, and now makes content on it. Its honestly okay, just don't interact with this one if you don't like children. -Non-verbal communicator: I do know that most reactions in Doors do require you to not speak most of the time, but they don't even chit-chat small talk. Although they are able to, they decide that actions speak better than words. -Near to death: They have gotten so bored of Doors that they just play for the adrenaline that they can still harness from the game's intense scenes and scenery. This ranges to waiting at the last moment to closet after rush is announced to purposely going the wrong way in the Seek chase, just to use "Vitamins" to survive. Can't really blame their boredom though. -Conversative: Talks frequently with whatever group they are playing with in chat, and surprisingly, most of the time, the group actually stops to talk to this guy. They are just fun to be around, fun to talk too, and you're going to miss them when you eventually have to leave them. -Honestly just great: We have all met the Doors player who saves the farthest closet for them or leaves the lighter in the top drawer for the noobie, or really anything else. They're definitely a pro at the game but plays for fun and lets others get the handicaps. Honestly just fun to play with. -Carrier: A sort of sub-division of Great. I have met my fair share of people who help other noobies get sorted into the rules of Doors, along with straight-up carrying them to the end. They just want to help other people. Also, I am a Speedrunner / Lazy player, but if we are going off of the ones I just gave, I am probably a Conversative / Speedrunner. Also, any more suggestions will probably be added to this damned list, so feel free to reply any more ideas you have. EDIT: I am bored, and tired, so I am going to list some item ideas that I think could work interestingly inside of doors. Also, this is just my go-to Doors trash dump comment now: -Critter Repel: Can be used against the smaller entities, like seek or timothy. It is a self-use item and it permanent until it eventually wears off, that being whenever is blocks an enemy. This can count as a trigger to that enemy. Also, when used, others cannot be near you, as they will take damage from how bad you smell, and maybe the stupidity that you sprayed bug spray on yourself and not enemies. Only 50 knobs, and it comes with two, max four. -Vacant Book: Can be found in the library, on the floor. When used, these items will be thrown at a distance determined by how long you hold down the left mouse button, there being a checkered outline of where it's going to land. This can be cancelled by unequipping it, and it will not automatically activate when fully charged. When thrown, it will follow the outline until it hits anything, to which is makes a loud thud noise, alerting the Figure. No cost, since its level limited, unlimited grab count but it despawns after leaving. -Ancient Seal: Taking the form of an amulet, this blocks any entities moving through these doors to make it through, eliminating them entirely. Doors that have guaranteed bosses cannot be cursed by the amulet, and it is a one-time use. This item allows for things like 12 players to be easier, sticky situations with any run-through character to be easier and to easily kill screech (brat deserved it). 100 Knobs and cannot stack. -Lantern: Functions as a lighter, but with lower charge and a hugger radius. Is useful in 12 games and with newbies. 80 Knobs and cannot stack. -Pizza Pie: This item cannot be picked up as an item, but can be selected whilst in the area that it appears in. Using it heals everyone near it for %25 percent health. Also, small chance for Timothy to appear in the box, actually dealing 20 damage this time. It can be bought as an item for 100 Knobs and cannot stack. Haha, jokes on you all, I still got MORE STUFF TO DUMB INTO HERE. You all can use your imaginations to imagine what they look like, cause I don't feel like doing descriptions of visuals or thinking about them. Here goes monster ideas: -Greed: Based around the Gambler in Arsenal's Slaughter mode, it functions nearly identically. Simply put, after level 50, there is a small chance that an item has a purplish tint and is giving off a monotone humming sound cue. If this happens, do not pick up the item. In doing so, Greed will attack only you, and it will deal %50 of your health, regardless of your HP. -Impatience: Found at a random room near the start of the game, it is only hinted at by there being a bigger-than-usual grandfather clock in the middle of the room, along with a random cabinet in that room being filled the brim with stopwatches. His mechanic activates the moment the group picks up the stopwatches, as it will count down from (150-R)/P. R being the room you are at and the P being the number of players that are currently in the game. It will also reset to this point every time the Stopwatch is used, and the stopwatch has unlimited uses. When the Stopwatch reaches 0, it will function as an infinite and slow ambush, moving as your average Vitamin pace between your current room and 4 rooms back, essentially being a game over if not checked on. It cannot go back to the passive state at this point. TL; DR: Click the timer, don't let it hit 0. -Spore: It can randomly appear in any room that's not a boss room. You can tell that it's in the area because of the green fog infesting the room its currently inhabiting, dark green when in a dark room. When entering the room, the player slowly takes damage, as they need to escape the room as soon as possible. Whenever they find the exit to the room, their HP will return to what it was before the room. -Barrier: (NOTE: THIS ONLY TAKES PLACE ON SERVERS WITH MULTIPLE PEOPLE). It functions as a punishment for players who aren't paying attention to their team members for long enough. If the amount of people who are currently alive aren't in the current room, there is a small chance that Barrier will appear and strike the first person who opened the door for %50 HP. 50/50 Speedrunner and Looter I either leave my teammates behind or get left behind cause i'm just back there looting gold Having a duo on speedrunning gives an advantage if you didn't know, if they go 3 or 4 doors ahead, you'll get a speed boost and if they leave there, you'll permanently have the speedboost for the entire game, Vitamins and Lockpicks are useful too for speedrunning.

I think I’m decently good, and probably could beat the game if I really tried. The thing is, I’m a scaredy-cat, so my runs usually end by me noping out. The entity that scares me the most is definitely Screech.

I am a pro, a looter, and an achivement hunter. Currently the only achievement I am missing is Hundred of Many, I have one six times now (I know its not that many but I also onky started playing a lot recently) and I have over 1,900 doorknobs.

You forgot the warner. They tell when rush or ambush is comming and don't really explain what the monster does. They just warn you do you can hide.

0:30 I'm kind of the noob but I know everything about Doors. I also check the drawers for loot, 3 drawers. every 1.5 seconds on average. I'm also like the argument that you said at 7:30. I try to not play alone. Lastly, if I'm in a dark room and I hear Screech, I straight up, close the Roblox tab because I don't want to deal with Screech, and because I'm kind of scared of Screech.
