Fun fact: Huge Power doubles a Pokémon’s actual stats, not its base stats. So an Absol with Huge Power essentially has a base attack stat of about 309, not 260.

@@superzockertvyt9630 Yeah, but the only method I could find to calculate base stats was to get a 0 IV, 0 EV, Neutral nature Pokémon, take 5 from the number and then divide it by 2. Absol with a 0 IV, EV and neutral nature has 265 attack, and if you take 5 and divide by 2, you get the 130, but if we're measuring the possible 788 attack it could have, the method doesn't work. I'd probably have to figure out how exactly EVs, IVs and natures influence the base stat, then get what a 0 IV, EV, neutral nature version of a 788 attack mon would be like and only then I could calculate the base stat. That felt like I was overcomplicating the problem, though, so I wanted to know if there was an easier method

It went horribly and now he is infamous for that clip. Every Pokémon reaction channel ever slandered him for causing Alpha to make an awful misplay

@@hedgehogpower194 The joke was that during the infamous "Onix Incident", Braden FORGOT this when advising Jacob to send out Onix (not that it would have worked anyway- Jynx is still faster and Onix's Attack isn't high enough to OHKO Jynx even with a Super-Effective Rock Slide, meaning even with the Quick Claw, it wouldn't have worked). ...On top of that, you said the wrong item. It's a Focus _Sash,_ not a Focus _Band._ Yes, the two are different items- Focus Band is a Gen 2 item that has a 10% chance (12% in the original Gen 2) to essentially activate Endure on each hit.

The worst part of this entire video is that PChal's Swellow dying was completely optional because of the secondary effect of Roost making Swellow weak to Fighting. It could have lived a range of the second CC crit. As for what I'd give if it was my choice, a Rayquaza with the moveset of a Lv70 Mismagius, to play off that one episode of the DP anime

Y'know. I said this on alpharad's video but I'll say it here. I think the single most hilarious mon would be a Feebas with Contrary, Dragon Dance, Quiver Dance, Feather dance, and Swords Dance holding an expert belt. She is an expert dancer who does things her way, not conforming to societies demands of her, freely expressing herself with interpretive dance. The ability can be changed to: Cute charm, dancer, queenly majesty, slow start, own tempo, defiant, quick feet, skill link, vital spirit, guts, inner focus, synchronize, intimidate, or speed boost (likely others too) to fit the comedy's needs depending on generation. Truly a versatile comedic pokemon for future egg locks :)

Blissey with Imposter, transform if imposter doesn't work for whatever reason, and no item. Since you take everything from an opponent you transform into besides HP and Level, and Blissy has the highest HP of any non-legendary you of course get what is essentially just the other pokemon but better.

Would be interesting to see one of these runs where the youtubers choose which gym leader they want their pokemon to go up against. So you'd get 6 new pokemon after every gym that would have to last you until the next gym (and 6 starters immediately), and if you lost any along the way you'd just have to challenge the gym with 1 less pokemon. And for the elite four you'd choose among the pokemon you'd gotten previously, and try to make the best possible team. This would also give the youtubers a bigger chance to make OP mons, or fun useless mons, because they'd know when you'd use it, and which level of broken to put the pokemon at.

The life orb could be switched for a quick claw or assault vest (which would require both swords dance and calm mind to be removed) but I think that it would work really well either way.

egglocke suggestion: flareon with ability rock head, no item so you can give it whatever special moves: flare blitz and wild charge anyway... dang this was a good one to watch, it's honestly refreshing seeing an egglocke without 90% of the pokemon having some crippling weakness and the gimmicks were kind of funny-if they didn't end up paying off most of the time... but just remember, no matter how far you run, no matter where you hide, dread it, run from it, onix will return all the same.

I have many favourite Pokémon, but as a shout-out to one of my childhood carries: I'd send a Wailord, with Drizzle, a Blue Orb, Ice Beam and Thunder. Ice Beam because that helped young me beat Sapphire, the rest because I find it funny to make it a fake Kyogre in reference to the game in general.

For a Nuzlocke I’d send Houndoom, if the challenge were to fill the Pokédex I’d send Slowbro, for raids I would send Tinkaton

So I've been watching your videos while signed out for quite a bit, and I think it's time to do the right thing by finally signing in, liking, and subscribing. I genuinely love your content so much. Really brought me some joy to see two furrets in one run and a spheal absolutely obliterate Cynthia's feared garchomp. Now, if I were to suggest a 'mon, it'd definitely be a shiny mightyena with a slightly differing set depending on the gen... If gens 4 or 5, then Serene Grace with Dragon Dance, Crunch, Fire Fang, and Poison Fang while holding an expert belt. If gen 6 or after, then the ability would be changed to Strong Jaw. If gen 3 specifically, everything would completely change to Wonder Guard with Belly Drum, Focus Punch, Sky Attack, and Skull Bash while holding a shell bell. It's so completely insane that it just might work, and none of these moves make sense on this li'l dark doggo, which I find utterly hilarious. Honestly, I just love mightyena so much, and almost nothing in this entire world would make me happier than seeing it reach new heights and receive the love and recognition it's always deserved.
